TIGGER fishes and seats 10 persons in comfort. She has an Irish Passenger boat P5 license for up to ten passengers which enables her to fish or sightsee up to 30 miles from land.

She is equipped with the latest in Simrad Navigational aids and technology to increase our chances of finding those specimen fish !!!!. (Over 60 Irish specimens in seven seasons, another 4 specimens in 2010)

About the Skipper:
John Angles comes from Dartmouth, South West England. He is 44 years old as of 2011. His life has always been connected with the sea and Sea Angling is his hobby and passion. He started fishing the famed Skerries Bank off Dartmouth when he was 6 years old, when Turbot the size of dustbin lids were still fairly common.

He has worked in a variety of roles connected with the sea from mooring services, commercial crab fishing to helping out on some of the Dartmouth charter boats.

More recently before moving to South West Ireland in 1999, he was skipper of 24metre and 33 metre charter yachts based mostly in the Mediterranean.

His qualifications allow him to skipper boats of up to to 200 tonnes anywhere in the world and he has current Irish Safety at Sea certificates and a GMDSS VHF radio licence.

His passion for Sea Angling has led him to setting up a Boat Angling Centre with his wife Maree on the Beara Peninsula in South West Ireland coupling a modern, fully equipped Angling boat called TIGGER with three modern, warm and well equipped self-catering holiday cottages.

John and Maree's aim is to provide you with some of the best Angling grounds in the British Isles, coupled with quality comfortable accommodation in order that your Irish Angling experience will be a happy and memorable one.
