    Report on-board Flamer IV

    Hi, all

I hope you are keeping well and keeping safe through these difficult times.

I recently took Flamer IV out for a much needed run as she has been tied up on the mooring since March. I took along a friend and we did some fishing for a while and caught Rays, Dogfish and Mackerel.

The two of us on board both wore face masks and social distanced, this is difficult though especially when any help is required to land a fish and doing other things around the boat.

It was quite an interesting sight in Weymouth Bay with seven cruise ships anchored up there.

Note: I have had a few guys contacting me about charter trips going ahead in different parts of the country. Note: Ports and harbours around the country can have different rules and regulations in force.

Guidelines - looking at the latest Guidelines issued by the P.B.A. and Angling Trust, when you analise them it does not make for an enjoyable day out and I think still a big health risk and for me to carry out my normal duties I would be the one at most at risk.

With only restricted numbers on the boat, then prices for trips for individuals would have to be increased and tailored to suit in order to make trips viable for me to do.

Whole Boat Charter prices would not see any price increase, but the numbers on board would be restricted.

I realize how frustrating it is for you all not to be able to come fishing on Flamer IV but we just have to be patient and wait until it is safe for all of us. I will re - access the situation again in early July.

A Big Thank you to all of you who have taken up the options and purchased Gift vouchers or added to your deposits or made pre - payment for future trips.

    Thanks for your continued support.

For those of you who have had trips cancelled because of the Coronavirus Pandemic and can not or do not want to re arrange for 2020 then please re book for 2021.Your deposits will be carried on to the future date(s) booked.

My Bookings diary/schedules on all my web sites are done through until the end of October 2021. The proposed itinerary's are not set in stone and can be changed subject to the tides.

    Stay Safe, All The Best,

    Colin Penny
