Report on-board Galloper
Still steady numbers of bass coming out lately. We were on the lures and the fish were there but the lads had to work for them. Stephen Clarke couldn't put a foot wrong and caught far more than his fair share. There's not always rhyme or reason to why one rod outfishes the other. that was certainly the case as the fish trashed Stephens lures and he was forced to change from one colour or type of lure to another.

We had a move later in the day where Steve canham picked up the best fish of the day.
It wasn't all bass and over the course of a few trips we saw mackerel, pouting, gurnard, weavers and even plaice mixed in our catches.
For the bass fishing we are back on the bait fishing for a bit and hopefully the weather permits us to get out and enjoy the last few weeks of the season before the cold sets in.
