Skylark was used as a passenger and safety vessel by the Kingfishers sea swimming club.
the first leg started from Staithes and the swimmers swam for 1/2 hour intervals as part of a relay.
in the first day the swimmers managed to cover 17.2 miles in 8 1/2 hours.
unfortunately due to weather and sea conditions they couldn't continue the swim the second day and continued the swim 2 weeks later.
the swimmers worked hard even with jelly fish brushing over them.
in total they swam the North Yorkshire Boundary, Staithes to Speeton in 17hrs 18mins 19secsUPCOMING INDIVIDUAL SPACES ONBOARD Skylark
