    Report on-board My Way 2

With a blustery forecast todays trip was cancelled, so last Sunday was our last trip of 2014.
It was a great fun trip with a good bunch of local anglers ready to get out and feel the fresh air following Christmas over indulgence! With everyone on board and keen to get out it was quickly decided to run a fun match, mainly for the most points but also with a little hunt for a mixed bag of species, see how many we could locate during a cold winters day in December. Thankfully the fish played ball and in total the 7 anglers on board caught over 400 fish between them, with Welsh International Anglers Dewi, Arthur and Chris all making the top spot number one target.

Species wise, we caught well, the bags were predominalty great sized whiting and dogfish, but we also managed to add some lovely pollack and coalies to a few lb on the drift and at anchor, codling, poor cod, pout, rockling and dabs, with 21 huss coming aboard ranging from a mere 8oz to a more respectable inshore weight of around 8 lb.

Eventual winner was Dewi Roberts, taking the match from Arthur by 5 points. Dewis skills at finding the huss, worth the max points a little better this day as Arthur actually caught 3 more finish, but found himself bumped down into 2nd place for the day.

A great day, plenty of fish, food and too many laughs, most of which cannot be mentioned here :D
