    Report on-board Discovery

    Jan 2017 1st set of tides complete
    This winter has produced more double figure Cod for us than any other year. We have had days when we have landed plenty of Cod and Whiting with the odd Thorn back ray.we have found that once the tide rises to over 29ft it use to be 28.5 ft t the flow on the river is too much for people to hold bottom and there is a lot of debris in the water ,the river seems to have alteredslightly and a 29ft is fishable on the flood although the numbers of fish are less and the tangles increase.
    Most of our fish have fallen to lug and squid cocktail below is a 13lbs 8oz Cod caught on Linas trip
    we still have trips left for February some weekends
