Catch and release on Bass finishes on the 31st for Bass. A few smaller ones arrived already with the weather improving and sea temprature rising the larger ones should arrive soon. Smaller male Smoothhounds have already arrived and we are hopefully the larger females will follow.

Fishing not great at the moment, Some fish around but not the normal number for this time of year. Still taking on worm and squid.

Hoping this cold snap will bring with it the elusive cod. Some nice doggies and an occasional Bass and Thornback along with the whiting at the moment. Most taken on worm.

Still lots and lots of whiting coming over the side some of a really good size. Few late smaller bass coming on crab and doggies as always taking everything.

So much whiting that at certain times of the tide. the bait doesn't even hit the seabed before being taken. Some nice doggies and a few late Bass still around. Worm tipped with squid best bait at the moment.

Some unusual fish for this area appearing gilt head bream off the pier using lug worm.

Lots of whiting and doggies in shore with the occasional Thornback and bass. Rag and crab best bait at the moment.
