It was the Swan Kings Clear monthly match today.Once again we had that easterly wind, however we still pushed offshore a bit and although it was a bit choppy at first it really paid off . Loads of Spurdogs,Congers, Whiting,Tope to over 25lb ,Smoothound to 14lb and Blonde Ray to 28lb .

After over a week tied up due to the constant nagging easterly winds we finally got out today for the latest round of the Piscary Super league. It was a stunning day, much better than forecasted . Fishing was quite difficult inshore but we did manage a very respectable 15 Species including Rays, Bream, Plaice, Pollack Wrasse, Turbot, Mackerel and quite a few Dabs! Top 3 on the day
1st Matt Pitter 146
2nd Ray Barron 124
3rd Luke Allen 112.
There are spaces for individuals next month on these dates.
15th inshore
21st and 22nd possibly offshore anchoring.
28th inshore

Managed to get out a couple of times this week with mixed results.Inshore the fishing was very tricky, but we did manage a few Plaice plus bonus Brill and Turbot.Offshore has been slightly better for Spurdogs,Bullhuss and Congers. Not planning to go inshore again until the fishing improves a bit .I have spaces for individuals to make up the numbers for super league on Friday the 28th .

Bit late doing the report for last week as I've been making the most of lovely weather to get some jobs and all the servicing done on the boat. Last week we had the latest round of the Piscary super league would normally prefer to fish on a small tides this time of year but due to anglers holiday commitments we had to fish it on a very big tide! Luckily the weather was stunning and although the fishing wasn't that great it was respectable considering. 14 species over the 2 days including Congers, Whiting, Plaice, Gurnard,Rays and quite a few 3 Bearded Rockling.Top 3 each day Thursday

After 2 Matches Richard is in the lead with a perfect score of 18 , Steve is second on 17, Vernon third with 14.
In the Piscary species hunt we have added a few at the weekend including some Wrasse and Herring the boat tally 2025 is now 30.
Jay Hemming is in the lead on 15 , Ray Barron is second on 13 ,Ed Taylor is third with 10 but has the best aggregate with only one Trip.

Fishing inshore has tailed off a bit again this week, we had plenty of small Whiting but not much else apart from odd Congers,Ray and Dab , However even though the tides have been a bit big we have managed to get offshore for the morning slack where the fishing has been very good.Quite a few Spurdogs including a new Piscary record of 24lb caught by Richard Ferre plus Congers,Big Blonde Rays, Bullhuss and Smoothound.
Next available day with spaces for individuals is Monday the 10th and Tuesday the 11th hopefully will be going deep, if you are interested in booking in please send me a text.

Once again this week we managed to get out on the smallest of weather windows.We really made the most of it starting offshore for the slack only just do able on the medium tides,Then a few hours on a bank followed by a rock mark .Had an amazing 13 species,Spurdogs , Blonde Rays, Smalleyed Rays, Smoothound,Bass,Dab and 5 Bearded Rockling. In the 2025 species hunt the boat is now on 25 Ray Barron is now in the lead on 14 , Jay Hemming is 2nd on 12 & Ed Taylor is 3rd on 10.
Next scheduled individuals trip is for offshore anchoring on Monday the 10th, Tuesday the 11 and Wednesday the 12th, but as the fishing is still so good may do another species day last minute if we get a really nice day .If you are interested in booking in please send me a text

Fishing has tailed right off now inshore .However for the persistent angler there are some nice fish to be caught . IBAC had their first match of the year this weekend, 8 species on the boat plenty of Congers but no where near as many Whiting as there has been, they also had Smoothound, Smalleyed Rays,Bass and Some Plaice.Top 3 on the day

In the Piscary species hunt the boat tally is now 22 after Jay Hemming adding Turbot and 5 Bearded Rockling, which puts him in the lead on 12

In the smallest of weather windows between the recent storms. We managed to get out for the Kings Arms Southampton's first match of the year . There was a very big swell in the morning but the glassy seas meant we could do some varied fishing with a inshore reef then slightly more offshore reef followed by inshore bank which between them produced an unbelievable 12 species totally unheard of in late January.They included lots and lots probably too many Whiting , Congers, Smalleyed Rays,Blonde Ray, Smoothound, Spurdog,Black Bream, Quite a Few Bass and a 3 Bearded Rockling. Top 3 on the day

In the Piscary species Hunt the boat tally is now 19! After only 1 trip Ed Taylor goes straight in to 1st place with 10 species

Really nice day out with the Lymington club today, we managed to get out a bit for the slack then come in a bit closer when the tide got going. 7 species on the boat including lots of Whiting, plenty of Congers plus Blonde Rays, Bullhuss and a lovely Bonus Brill!
The Piscary 2025 species hunt has got off to a great start with 17 species on the boat already. Jay Hemming is in the lead with 8
Steve Harder and Ray Barron are joint second on 7 .
Looking at the current forecast not planning on any individual trips at the moment, but as soon as there is a break in the weather will advertise spaces here. If it's a big tide will try for Turbot,Brill and 3 Bearded Rockling, if it's a small tide will be going offshore for Spurs, Bullhuss and Rays.

First round of the 2025 Piscary Super League this week, absolutely stunning conditions for the time of year made for 2 really nice days out.Plenty of fish to be caught but only 8 species over the 2 days.Lots and lots of Whiting but nothing over 2lb , loads of Congers plus the odd bonus Ray , Wrasse and 3 bearded Rockling. Top 3 each day
