A day of 2 halves we struggled on the skate only had a couple and some small hounds so waited for the high water to have a move .Perfect the hounds started with a nice double then some nice mediums coming up 2 hours of rod bending fun pics of the better one best going 13 lb and released as pupped up .Weather played ball with a sea breeze on way home to finish the day off, Now taking bookings inbox Dawn on Facebook or message on 07854 7723 14 onboard Lady Ann of Ramsgate

A very quiet day today tried to get off but to rough to anchor so made the best of a bad thing and anchored inshore had a nice skate and a few small hounds then tide died. With the weather limiting spots where we could fish comfortably and with a couple of newbies from London .fishing was slow with few small hounds then a bit of seasickness forced us to move inshore we knew the chance of any good hounds was slipping away so we tried for a skate straight away they played ball ended up with a good session on them with our skate virgins getting in on action. Alex had his first bass of the season both went 2.5lb and both caught caught on fresh yellows, he had a few more after but these two were his limit.

A lovely bunch drove down from London and never moaned about the conditions all day just kept fishing and smiling some nice skate landed as well and few more dabs which is always a bonus .Sorry for lack of pictures my phone died so Verne used his in the harbour as we kept some for the table .Nice to see the skate still there in hard conditions taking bookings onboard Lady Ann of Ramsgate inbox Dawn on Facebook or message on 07854 7723 14
