Mixed day today Gurnard, Pouting, Whiting, Skate, Shad and Mackerel and even managed a CODLING, yes you have read correct the cod are here. Fantastic weather today and it looks like this weather is here to stay

Cracking day aboard Lady Ann of Ramsgate decided to try for hounds as we had a young lady on board called Robin on holiday from Cornwall never been fishing before and wanted a Smoothound for her cv, no luck for her but she did manage a nice Thornback after we moved for a few Thornbacks biggest fish was Anthony also on holiday from Cornwall he managed a new pb 10.5 lb lovely fish, all in all cracking day with cracking people.

A chance to test out the new deck lights yesterday evening and two family groups on board. First couple of hours was very slow then the Smoothounds decided to feed, plenty of squid and peeler onboard and the action started. Some nice hounds came up and three people broke their Smoothound virginity. Weather was nice if a ted chilly in the breeze. A trip round to Queenborough for an event that was cancelled, no matter we stayed the night, a few beers the night before and a hearty breakfast before slowly set off for home, Wind was blowing making it a bit choppy but
we managed loads of small hounds but I won the pot with 9 lb hound. Few mackerel showing but need the clearer water, all in all brilliant day -

Very trying conditions again today, One day enentually the weather will let us get offshore and try some new marks. The boys from Posillipo Pizzeria were onboard today and battled away. Few nice fish come aboard and all ways a pleasure to have you onboard.

Mixed fishing today and a pb smashed in hard conditions, couldn't get offshore today but still ground a decent day out. And a big thank you to Dick the skipper and Wazz the oracle of fishing for making punters day enjoyable.

A good days mixed fishing for our first tip following major refit, a few wrinkles to iron out but thats normal.
We had Skate Smoothounds a small Bass and the usual selection of Whiting and Doggies, a very enjoyable day.
