    It's been a double figure cod frenzy on Sea-Otter 2 of late some excellent fishing and at times in only 70 ft of water under the cliffs .
    You can only fish these marks at certain times of the year when the water is crystal clear and the tides are right paul Burgoyne and his mates had 3 double figure cod in 60-70 ft of water on there trip plus stacks of cod 4-7 lb on shads some excellent fishing and as allways with Whitby if you know where they live they are there for the taking when the conditions are right .

    1 of 3 doubles taken under the cliffs on shad .

    We have been smashing the cod on Sea-Otter 2 some very good fishing indeed shads have been dynomite and back in early a few days to sort the lads fish out a lot more to come some reall qualtiy fish fish as well .

    The girls have been getting into the action on Sea-Otter 2 here is local girl Sarah Miller with a double figure cod she got in summer festival which won here top ladies prize well done Sarah first time boat fishing a natural .

    The cod fishing just continues to be awesome here at whitby out today with bunch of lads from the south coast today they got a shock to just how good the cod fishing is here at whitby .

    The lads are on Sea -Otter 2 for 4 days giving the haddock fishing a go tommorow so stand by for a full report the lads are keen to catch haddock i am fairly confident we can get amoung them tommorow .

    Here is a nice cod we had in summer festival .

    Been fishing it's nutts off in the festival on Sea-otter 2 the lads have loaded with fish some very good fishing indeed Gary Jones has moved into the lead in the festival on Sea-otter2 but a long long way to go in the festival to grab the £5000 1st priZe .


    Here are a Few of the lads with Gary Jones amoung them with a few nice cod Gary has been on Sea-Otter 2 for most of the first week on the comp his freezer will be busting at the seems with cod fillets .

    Another absolute stormer yesterday on Sea -Otter 2 the lads had a boat full of cod it was hectic fishing on the shads a day the lads will not forget quickly what you can only desrible as awesome the signs here at whitby look very good indeed on the cod some excellent sport .

    The cod fishing here at whitby has been totoally awesome of late the better fish are now poking there heads out the lads on friday had what you can only call a dream days fishing on Sea-Otter 2 we were back in harbour at 1.30pm the lads had caught enough plus cod to 15lb a purple days fishing on the water .

    The big summer festival is only days away a very odd spot left in comp once again competition will be fierce chasing the £5000 top prize its all to play some fabulas prizes once again on offer .

    The fishing here at whitby is awsesome to say the least stacks if cod its alive out there especially on the shads.

    This last week has been superb the lads have trashed it and yesterday we came in early the lads had caught enough we are coming into june and just a very odd day left on the boat through out the month where there is a few spots left its priming itself to explode the fishing should be all action june is month where the water clarity is very good and that only means one thing fish stacks of it .

    These young lads had never been boat fishing and what an introduction they got they trashed the cod on the shads here they are with just a few of there fish.

    Once again another corker of a day on Sea -Otter 2 its dynomite cod fishing here at whitby stacks of fish for the lads gilbert a regualar on Sea -Otter 2 his mates hit the jackpot some very good fishing in deed shads are going the buisness .

    Its alive here at whitby here are the lads with a just a few of there fish more to come.

    The cod fishing here at whitby is on fire another superb week on the cod had some youngsters onboard yesterday with regular steve kettlewells group got the lads set up on lures and bingo the cod were jumping aborad these young lads are now well and truelly hooked on boat fishing here they are with a few of there fish .
