Those double figure cod keep coming what week uptiding here at whitby its great to see fish of this quality litterally a few hundred mtrs from the shore plus we also had a 20lb conger as well uptiding .
Its the start of the uptiding comp next with £1000 up for grabs just an odd space left over the week so its worth a crack remember distance means nothing here at whitby we have had cod onces under 30lb uptiding in the past its just being in the right place what gives you the best results sea -otter 2 catch rates are second to non.

Double figure cod everywhere today upting some olovelly fish for the lads these were the 3 best today all in double figures these fish were caight only 500yds from shore in 60ft of water.

The cod fishing over the weekend was once again very good on sunday saw the best fish over the 2 days a cod going over 16lb a lovelly fish and personal best for simon.
Dates for next year a filling up fast .

With a weather window and a lovelly octobers day in prospect everything was looking good the fishing off late has been excellent and once again the lads werent to be disapointed some lovelly fish for the lads and plenty of them as well.

Had the lads on today from the telstar fishing club they had a cracker on there last months trip on sea-otter 2 but today was no exception they had well over 150 cod between them lovelly weather and the fishing to go with it what more could you ask.
Dont forget we have an uptiding competition 10th november to the 18th inclusive £1000 to man with the biggist cod over the week its great fun catching quality cod in shallow water.

With the weather forcast being good with light winds and fairly calm sea everthing looked nice and it was for this man 1st time on boat he get a cod 15lb and ling 16lb what more could you ask all in all the lads at the end of the ended up with a nice show of fish on the day .
1st time at sea and double figure cod very nice. -

They took a bit of finding the water clarity is still very green after the last big blow the catches recently have been very good on sea-otter 2 so to keep in grove i had to do a bit steaming and in the end the lads had a nice day the lads got amoung the cod plus a ling of 16lb which also fell to a shad to go with the cod the lads enjoyed there day.
The lads at the end of the day with a few of there catch. -

The wreck fishing of late has been excellent with shads hammering the cod but toaday with the wind forcast being quite strong i decided to have a crack inshore uptiding .
The storm we had earlyer in the week was big and i new cod would have come well inshore in droves its getting to that time of year late september that the uptiding is just round the corner but what a surprize the lads got today with cod and ling both in double figures with other cod upto and around the 7lb mark all the indications point to a massive upting season
This man with his PB a cod of 13lb.
I am now booking for 2013 if its cod your after look no further. -

Had martin holts team today the lads said they would love get amoung cod so i said if its fishing the same today as its been you are in for some fun and sure enough they werent dissapointed local lad alan ward fished with these guys as some of them stayed in alans guest house he had a cracking day .
The lads sorting and filleting there fish on the way home.
