Had a few lads and a young lady on today who had never been fishing on a boat before and it was the young lady who showed all the fellas how to go once i had given her tuition on how work the shad she started to bang the cod out 2 really nice cod were on the deck before the lads new it what you would call like shelling pies in a pod.
The young lady with her nice brace of cod and they werent her only ones -

Les asquith fished with me for the first time on sea-otter 2 and he smashed his personal best cod by 15lbs his best was 4lb and then came up trumps with a cod just over 19lb he was exstatic to say the least he will be back for more.

The lads from cornhill on tweed northumberland got a cracking days fishing on sea-otter 2 stacks of cod but miles rudge got his fish of a lifetime a halibut weighin in at 37lb

Yesterday in the festival conditions werent what you would call perfect with a southeasterly swell and wind to go with it plus a big tide but ian dixon never fails he managed to to 1st and 2nd in the daily prizes with 2 double figure cod well done ian.

Its still the summer festival the £5000 is still up for grabs and the weather is horrible but those cod keep coming aboard in crap conditions today all the lads managed to nail some nice fish and it was this man who won the daily prize in the festival winning £50 in those conditions he well deservs it .
11lb cod and a 7lb cod just a smidge of his catch. -

Its whitby charter skippers summer festival and steve hardwick on sea-otter 2 has set the cod section with a nice cod of 15lb 13oz there has been stacks of cod with a lot of fish nudgeing the 10 lb mark we just need that 20lb plus fish with £5000 up for grabs its all to play for.

Had a group of lads on today from preston they had a cracking day on the cod they will be back.

Summer has come at last to whitby and the fishing has come on with a massive bang cod are jumping aboard this lad manged the best today a nice cod just over 16lb a lot more to come like this.

Its the WCSA spring angling festival and the fishing when we have been able to get out has been very good yesterdays the lads had one hell of a day they were hammered to the cod we fished the wrecks close in inside of ten mile and they fished very well .

Its that time of year when doule figure cod can come in numbers yesterday the 1st fish on the boat fell to dave nixon from sunderland with a cracking cod of 14lb he nailed it on shad dave loves his shad fishing and will persever all day doing it .
Lee hassbring lee tend do more fishing with squid and he wasnt dissapointed he got a lovelly fish over 13lb he was well made up we did have bit of problem with a very large seal which took a few good cod off the lads i wont say what they said but they werent happy.
