A superb weekends weather allowed us to fish far offshore from Ramsgate.
Some of the wrecks we fished are 30 mile plus offshore, a long run but worthwhile.
Huge amounts of Cod , Bass and Pollock and shattered anglers !!
Back inshore today as the North Easterly winds have returned but never mind we're getting good hounds upto 15lb and skate to 12lb so far.

A nice days angling on the wrecks, Don`t believe the doomsayers that there`s no fish out there!

Darstardly North East winds again, limiting where we can get to but when we can get out there`s Terrific catches of Skate to be had.
Also seeing strong catches of good bass close inshore, Nice !
The first smoothounds are showing , mainly small but the big girls will be here any day soon.

Dates announced are 23rd, 24th, 25th July.
Come grab a lunker.
We are the undisputed Bass Champions with an as yet unbeaten in the competition fish of 15 LB 6OZ 8DRMS and 1,2,3rd heaviest fish in 2006, 4th 2008, 5th 2009.

Thankfully the days we have been able to do the long distance trips we`ve found good amounts of quality cod and some stonking pollock. It`s always a worry this time of year in case we get out there and find the water coloured or the wrecks empty of fish.
The inshore fishing has been odd to say the least, one day great, 10/15 nice plump spring coddies and 6/8 skate thrown in for good measure. The next day almost nothing even struggling to catch doggies, as if someone has hit the OFF switch !
Hopefully it`ll settle into a nice steady rhythm now as the Skate move closer inshore as the temperatures rise and we get the last of the spring run cods, lots to look forward to . . .

Tuesday 16th,
At last a calm day to have a run offshore and have some fun with the fishies !
Don`t believe the miseries that recon there`s no fish out there,cos there`s plenty you just got to find them !
40 to 50 cod from 5 to 14 lb !!!

Good amounts of cod coming from quite close inshore now, best one last week was 16lb for Dennis, well done.

Plenty of bass showing along with the cods, get on down with a bucket of Lug !
Well done to Gary S and his two mates on sunday, kept 7 bass and returned about 15 that were over MLS.
