14/06/20 Took a party of 4 today out to the newcom bank only spottys and small whiting ran back off the church around 11.30 much better fishing plenty of hounds and big whiting plus 1x7lb rooker no bass showing.

Morning all with the fishing ban now lifted a bit we can now take people out again all be it only one person from another house or if two are living in the same house hold then that is ok as long as we keep our 2mt distance apart,the fishing has picked up a lot over the last few weeks with some very good catches of,(Spur Dogs/Blond Rays/Rooker/Smuts/Whiting/Spottys/Bass/.

Back in the water after a two week maintence antifouling ect break 19th with conditionds good i picked up Martin off the morrings at the Yacht club and we ran out to the back of the twins and shot two nets only a few Herring in there so with the tide just started to ebb and the light fading we ran into the stanford plenty of marks showing on the sounder between 17ft&25ft drifted for 20mins much better after cleaning the nets we had a quick count 81 Herring and 1 Whiting some lovely big fish and full of roe,with the onset of winter and the sea temps dropping iam sure we will see some very good fishing over the festive season,BP.

Been out of water for two weeks back in again now with the cold weather approaching fast weve seen the first signs of a better season for Cod fishing with a few started to show now plus plenty of Whiting and Dabs as well lets hope some of our offshore marks produce some good size fish.A friend of mine caught these two beauties while on holiday.

Sunday 12th took party out to the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx that is my favorate mark plenty of fish with Rooker/Hounds/Bass/Whiting/Spottys all showing with the best fish of 12lbs a lovely Rooker,Wednesday 15th went to same mark best fish of the day14lb Blond with again some very nice Bass/Hounds/Whiting plus a lot of Spottys,6 spaces left for this Sunday 19th,call 07771926590.

Two half day trips this week only fishing in very shallow water off the ministry had 42 Dabs in the two trip and loads of under sized Whiting,fishing fresh or frozen lug and herring or sprat tip small hooks and small baits dont miss out as these Dabs make lovely eating and with the shortage of Cod these can give you a bit of sport on light gear,call 07771926590 for a trip.BP.

With the lack of Cod in our area we are concetrating on Dabs and Whiting there seem to be an abundence of these fish this year,some of the Dabs that weve had are a good size and the area that has prodused the most is off Pontins and Red House plus we had one nice plaice last Saturday i am sure there are more of these orange spottys about,with the onset of spring i am sure we will be having a run of Cod around March with the Rooker and Hounds following with the big female Bass soon after so until then,BP.

With the lack of Cod in our area we have been targeting Dabs and some lovely big fish have been showing,these fish are now getting fat and ready to spawn so it wont be long before they run out into deeper water so have a go at them know,the party on Saturday5th had 40 plus,Brian.
