This report covers the 13th December trip for the boys from SLP with a break in the weather i ran out to the Holm Bank hoping to find some Cod but only Whitings and Dabs appeared we stuck it out till slack water then moved inside off the ministry,we started off with Whitings again they are all over at the moment with a few decent size ones showing with so many Whiting around at the moment its hard to find other species but John had a bit of a tug on his rod that turned out to be the best fish of the day a nice 5lb7oz Rooker you never know whats lurking down there well all and look forward to seeing you all in the new year,Brian.

Had a go today off the roads plenty of Whiting to keep us busy plus 2 nice Rooker best coming in at a bit under 6lb,no Cod showing on this mark wanted to get out to the Newcomb Bank but there was to much swell i am sure there will be some good Cod there when the conditions are good enough for us to go.

This report covers 31st/1st/2cd conditions were far from good on the 31st so it was close in off the claremont pier with Whiting in abundance i dont think it matters where you go at the moment also the party had a nice 56cm Cod in there as well,i hope all your boys enjoyed it Alex,The 1st sore a thick blanket of fog all along our coast so decided to fish off the Roads with the radar running it was a pretty clean ride with only one more boat ahead of us,with the anchor down it was fish from the start loads of nice sized Whiting and 3 Cod to 58cms,i couldn't get the pictures up of the reels Antony,Monday it was a half day for Trevor and his two Ladies i took them to a mark not to far away with plenty of Whiting coming into the boat they were well pleased then we had a nice 48cm Cod and Renny then got into a 5lb Rooker that i didn't expect to see a great mornings fishing,note the rod in the middle of the picture this caught the most with baited lures just off the back,hope you enjoy your fish and look forward to seeing you all again soon,Brian.

Had a bit of Bait left over from the weekend left early to get the back end of the flood but i was a bit late we arrived at the mark on slack water,had a Spotty straight away when the ebb started to make so the fish started to feed we came away with some lovely fish best Rooker going just under 8lb and the best Cod nudging 7lb what a great mornings fishing ,BP.

11/08 With conditions good it was off to an area that we use on such a day we caught the back end of the flood and it fished its head off 15 Rooker plenty of Hounds/Whiting/Dabs with only a few Spottys plus 1 bonus Cod for Paul/Tony/Tony and family cya soon BP.

With unsettled conditions it was an inside trip for the party started on the S/Holm had a few decent sized Hounds but as the tide started to make and wind against a move was on the cards so ran back inside to a mark that i use when its to rough outside and it didnt let us down i was sure the Cod had moved off but we had 2 nice fish plus 2 good sized Rooker and plenty of Whiting and Hounds,well done Jamie/Thad/Martin/Yan/David see you all again soon,BP.

Had a play on the Newcome today with the results as you can see for Lucas and his mates who were first timers with me and Ady who has been with me before i thought the Cod had gone as i told the boys they had moved off but not so we finished up with 5 nice fish all between 50&62cms only one 8lb Rooker today but plenty of big Hounds that were ready for a game when they sore the shadow of the boat,hope you enjoy your fish boys and see you all again soon,Brian.

Ran out to the shoal the last two trips with moderate results Tuesday had 6 Rooker and plenty of spottys and hounds,Thursday same area with a good bit of visibility in the water i was sure there would be a few Mackerel about but didn't find any so stuck to bottom fishing loads of Spotty Dogs and a few Hounds only 1 Rooker today but we did have a surprise fish come in a Turbot that weighed in at a pound this is the first one that i have seen off this shore for a long while and the first one we've had on the Princess well done Chris,BP.
