Fishing this Autumn has been phenomenal with lots of specimen fish,Species and Piscary boat records
Dave Colclough broke the boat record Tub Gurnard with a magnificent fish of 6lb 4oz,Nick Lark broke the Couch's Bream Record and Roy Adams added a Species for the boat an Atlantic Bonito of 10oz , as it was not on our list he wins a free trip! Andy Peadon equaled the boat record Ballan Wrasse with a fish of 6lb 6oz. Other fish of note were an 18lb Undulate Ray caught by Adam,14lb Pollack for Rex Swansbury,27lb Blonde Ray for the Captain,another Ballan of 6lb 4oz for Shaun Collins-Linsey,2lb 4oz Sole for Dave Colclough,13lb Smothound for Andy Peadon and Golden Grey Mullet for Steve Churchill.Along with quite a few nice Pollack ,Congers,Tope,Bullhuss and Rays offshore and Great Plaice,Bream,Bass,Rays and Species inshore.The species tally for 2018 know stands at boat record 60! -

Yet another fish of a life time caught on Piscary this time it was another Turbot of 21lb caught by Big Andy Speight he caught it while fishing for Tope and Congers over a Wreck. The fishing has been very good all round again still catching quite a few nice Bream ,Double figure Smoothounds, Undulate Rays to 16lb 10oz,Blondes to 21lb ,Congers ,Tope and Brill.

Yet another Piscary record smashed
Well done to Darren Phillips on catching Piscary's first ever Coalfish at 8lb as Darren is a Piscary species hunter he wins a free trip .Other notable fish around at the moment ,Big Blondes, Tope to around 30lb ,Undulates to over 15lb,Turbot, Brill,Bream to over 3lb ,Plaice, Bullhuss,Congers,Thornbacks to over 12lb and Double figure Smoothounds. -

Absolutely fishing its head off from Poole at the moment with plenty of Bream to over 3lb ,New Piscary boat record Garfish caught by Roy Adams at 1lb 8oz ,Spurdogs, Pollack, Tope,Ling,Plaice, Bullhuss, Undulate Ray to over 15lb ,Turbot, Brill and the icing on the cake a new Piscary boat record Bass caught by Paul Filer at a massive 16lb 8oz

Spring has Sprung in Poole.
With Plaice, Wrasse,Congers,Bullhuss, Smoothound, Spurdogs to 21lb,Undulate Ray to 16lb,Thornback to 12lb 8oz,Herring and even a ling for the captain!all being boated at the moment. -

It's been a really great Autumns fishing on Piscary with plenty of the summer species around like Bass,Mackerel,Garfish,Undulate Rays to 17lb 8oz,Congers to 53lb,Double figure Smoothounds, Red Mullet,Trigger fish,loads of Plaice, Turbot, Brill,Bream to 4lb,Sole,Long,Bullhuss to 13lb,double figure Pollack as well as the winter fish starting to show with plenty of decent Whiting to over 3lb and Spurdogs to 20lb .Well done to Steve Collins who won fish of the month for September with a 1lb 10 1/2oz Cuckoo Wrasse and is now likely to win again in November with a 20lb Spurdog he wins a Bungee Spongee and a Piscary woolly Hat.

Well done to James Ellis , one of the first fish caught in this years Piscary evening series was a 14oz Baillon's wrasse , which is well over the current British record and one of the best specimens ever caught on Piscary. In the interest of conservation the fish was returned.

the Spurdogs are back! Also had Congers ,Bullhuss, Undulate Ray,Blonde Rays and a bonus Ling.Congratulations to Darren Phillips on winning the Piscary 2015\16 species hunt after bagging a Spur and a Ling on the last day to give him a record score of 45 2nd was Richard W on 43 and third was Dave C on 40 .The best specimen for the year was Jon Lowe's Spurdog of 20lb this was also caught on the last day and gets him a bongee spongee for fish of the month for March .

Unbelievably good fishing at the moment .One day this week 4 anglers managed 10 different speices including 22 Rays Spotted and Smalleye, Smoothounds, Conger, lots of whiting, Dab,Plaice and Turbot.Darren Phillips is still in the lead of the species hunt on 42 Richard W is second on 41 with 2 weeks to go,my score this season is now my personal best of 45 after bagging a Dab and a 5lb 8oz Turbot which in the interest of conservation was released.
