Absolute red letter day today for the 4 of us here at Whitby on Mistress
The flood fished steady away, but once the ebb pulled through it went ballistic!
Best angler had well over 30 codlings himself
Everyone had 15 plus fish with many returned.
Best bait was black lug worm tipped with unwashed squid.
We have spaces available friday and then next week. Trips are £5 per person per hour.
Top quality Daiwa hire tackle and bait available if required.

We managed to sneak a couple of trips in on Saturday here at Whitby.
We got onto a few spots that started out well with the rods bounching only for seals to show up and start stealing fish. Everyone managed a few fish with a few better ones coming over gunnels too. Managing around 40 fish each trip.
Best baits we're black lug and unwashed squid.
It looks like theres a window in the weather on tuesday and wednesday this week and by the looks of it, that will be it for at least a week.
We only need a minimum of 3 people to sail on on our longer trip of 9 hours, for £45 per person, or
4 people on the shorter 7 hour trip at £30 per person.
If you fancy a night trip due to work commitments, I can put a 6 hour night trip in the dark, together for £30 per person.
Bait and hire tackle can provided at cost if required.

We've been very lucky with a small settled spell of weather here at Whitby this weekend, we managed to get to sea everyday and an added bonus night trip.
We've managed steady fishing but not as good as it has been, saturday and sunday day trips averaged 30-40 cod for the boat plus throw backs, but saturday night and monday we manged 50-60 cod for the boat.
Seals were a problem, with us losing a good few fish to them.
Mondays best angler took just shy of 20 codlings himself keeping about a dozen.
Theres a gap in the weather on thursday at the minute and we'll be running a day and a night trip if we get the interest. Its £5 per hour per person for the trips.
If youre on a budget we can put a deal together to suit you.
Thursday 24th - 10 places
Saturday 26th
Day trip: 0715- 1600, 5 places
Night trip: 1700-2300, 6 places
Sunday 27th - 10 places
Hire tackle and bait can be provided if required at cost.

Hi guys, we've had a couple lads book on for monday, so we'll need at least one more angler to make up numbers to sail. The fishing has been very very good again this winter.
This trip is 9 hours long and £45 but I do offer a shorter trip for £30 too, which has been popular and allows us a fast turn round and do a night trip which are also £30 per person.
We're also taking bookings for the WCSA 2019 festivals now, we are usually among the prizes, and won the last event.
The dates are
Spring 13th-28th April.
Summer 22nd June - 14th July
Autumn 7th-22nd September

A very windy #Whitby today. This big northerly system looks to be set in for the next few days.
We're taking booking still, we fish all year round, as this sea drops away there will be plenty of cod inshore.
Keep an eye out for updates on my page, we do trips for as little as £30 for a days fishing and we're the only boat in whitby to offer night uptide trips, also only £30 per person.
We have the best quality #Daiwa hire tackle available loaded with braid. Bait can also be arranged if required.

Just come back from a great evening uptiding trip on the Mistress. Really good night, set off 4pm from the pontoon, through the bridge and out past the piers. Half an hour or less and we were into fish nice little codling to start the night off. Fishing was steady away all evening a couple of nice fish coming onboard even a dog fish making an appearance . Unfortunatly a couple of seals decided to join so that slowed the catch rate. we moved to a couple of marks. It was a very peacful nights fishing . Rich was keeping us right on the ins and outs of uptiding at night and Crewman Nikki kept busy netting and untangling. Got back to the pontoon just after 10pm. all for £30, Bargain, Can't wait till next time.

Brilliant night tonight smashing the cod on our 1st night trip of the year,
The lads managed a steady 50-60 codlings on our 6 hour trip, the best angler managing around 15 himself.
Yesterday on our day trip we managed around 70 keeper codlings with chuck backs on top of that.
We'll be looking to run these on weekly basis on a weekend night and maybe in the week too if we get enough interest. Theyre £30 per person.

We've an absolutly awsome week smashing the cod here at Whitby on Mistress
Even over the small tides anglers were leaving with upto 20 cod per person. Weve seen some belters too upto 15lb.
Black lug and unwashed squid doing the damage,
Most of my trips are 9 hours this time of year, but if youre on a budget and can get a handful of lads together, Im happy to do a cheaper deal for you. I can do a 7 hour trip for just £30 per person.( not so early start and miss the rush hour home! )
I'll also be running some night trips this month.
