Dawn Tide II is going back in the water on the 24th of February after a slow start to 2017 ! we are ready for the 2017 season ahead!! Dawn Tide was hauled out for general yearly maintenance and out of water hull survey making sure shes a safe complying reliable vessel that of cause i make sure at all cost look foward to see you all aboard very soon !!!
2017 Dates filling fast phone has been non stop this week book up for the summer favourites -

The cod are moving in slowly now fingers crossed when the water temp drops we will start seeing more comming out we have had a few recently so its a good sign !!! plenty skate action around aswell whiting and dog fish too i wont go on too much but most crouch charters have been getting cod recently on our home grounds Making the river crouch yet again a prime location to fish from book up and see for your self !!!! -

Well fishing aboard the Dawn Tide II is really busy at the moment and only to get better when the COD turn up very soon and the same for most river crouch charters Morgan m , Predator, ECT. hauls of skate coming out at the moment with many double figures. The bass are making there way further off shore had a trip out there last week 20+ bass biggest was 6 lb but there are some really big fish coming up like Tonys on the Morgan M 15.LB bass. Well this time last year we where getting plenty of COD just look back at last years reports well worth getting out and having ago as they are on there way you got to be in it to win it.
Well the River Crouch is proving to be one of the best Venues to be fishing from really up and coming venue has some of the best grounds in the Thames estuary / south east the grounds hold good amounts and sizes of fish like Cod to 34lb Bass to over 15lb Tope to 70+lb Hounds to 24+lb all this within under 1 hours reach and some top skippers and boats that all work together !!! you can't go wrong!!!

Bass will start to shoal up soon further offshore making some of the best bass fishing of the season book up now if you want decent bass! Plenty skate making a come back now as they usally do in the next month or so hounds are thinning out now in the shallows still a chance of a big one before the leave else wher and remember last September when we started seeing the first of the cod so plenty to look foward to especially the bass in the next 6 weeks !!!!!

Finding good numbers of plaice to just under 4lb on our local inshore marks this is fantastic news for the Essex coast !!!!!!

well in our usual july marks there are plenty of mackerel around again and thats good as its a top bait this time of year the hounds are showing to 16lb but very weedy where we are getting them so its is a bit of a pain good number though. bass to 9 lb coming up on squid or mackerel smaller ones on the worm but several a trip still. skate are stacking in numbers again and loving mackerel bait.
We started looking further afield about 30mile for some plaice and turbot there are good numbers of plaice there the last few time we have been along with the odd turbot plenty sand eel and mackerel and the odd bass chucked in there are some big wrecks over there aswel that throw up pollock cod and bass so I'm looking to do some 16 hour trips split days half drifting for plaice and turbot and the other half dropping live sand eel or shads down on the wrecks for pollock cod and bass call me for details

Fishing is good plenty of action from the bass as you can see so get your trips booked in for July as you allowed to take them !!!! Bass yesterday 9.12lb
hounds are doing well too shallows with crab is action packed
mackerel comming aboard in good numbers when the wether is settled
always plenty rays around if you want them
Reports of the bigger tope landed plenty of bite offs this week and loads small tope around 4-8 lb biggers ones further off the odd one being caught inshore
Some good mixed bags about see for your self see you all soon
