Andy Collings a Flamer regular for over 20 years booked Flamer IV to celebrate his 65th Birthday, he invited along his son Peter and two friends.
Andy wanted a day where they could all use light tackle. Baits used were Ragworm, Squid, Mackerel,
The day was spent mostly drifting for Plaice and Gurnards and a session at anchor on a Reef which produced lots of Congers and some Black Bream.
An enjoyable day was had by all. Catch of the day was a 3Ib 2oz Plaice landed by David Hawker.

Great Day on Saturday with Thornbacks to 8lb 8 oz, along with smoothhounds to 5lb many large whiting, fished full day with great company and anglers fish caught on squid and fresh mackeral, taking bookings now for all this week

Another good trip out today
Baited hokkas seamed to be the best today
But a very good stamp of of fish

Sat 11th July idea was for tope trip, picture today of Nick with 30lb specimen, had 5 runs lost 3 bit of feathering for mackerel few keepers among them, beaten by the weather so inside for dogs and whitting to finish the day off. Thanks Rhitchie for organising everyone hopefully bigger ones next trip. Cheers

Evening trip out tonight with Richard and sons very pleasant weather ended up with some decent smoothounds to ten pounds, a nice thornback ray, spotty dogs and whiting most of the night. Big thanks to Richard, Tim, Dan and Gary was most enjoyable. thanks guys

Its been a while since our last report due to covid.
Fishing inshore is slowly improving as the algae bloom slowly burns away.
Unbaited Shads seamed to be taking the better cod and pollock now. With our detail shads working brilliantly as usual.
