Report on-board Piscary
It's that time of year again and as the sea temperature rises and the water starts to go clear the fishing inshore begins to get very difficult indeed.Even the normal Pout, Congers and Dogfish are reluctant to feed. The fishing offshore is still quite good though plenty of good size Tope, Bullhuss Congers and some really nice Bream .

Hi Everyone.

Lack of reports due to workload ,but a quick one nevertheless. Lots of sport to be had over the last set of Neap tides. Tope are in abundance, but bait is difficult to find in quantity . I headed to a shallow reef in search of Bass ,and I was truly amazed at what I spotted. What must of been tons of Bass ,from Seabed to Ten meters high. An epic hour of fishing ,until everyone had landed several fish. Only a few retained ,the rest released. With Tuna being regularly spotted , we are retting ready. We certainly have the ideal boat for it . Our flybridge allows us to see much further than at deck level, and its very much sight fishing when Trolling Lures.UPCOMING INDIVIDUAL SPACES ONBOARD Rocket

Report on-board Galloper
I thought I'd share some of the less common species we have had lately. Mostly offshore but some more colourful fish like tub and red gurnard, greater weaver fish and even some black bream. Of course the bass are our main targets offshore from now until December but it's nice to see the other fish too.

What a stunning day. The weather couldn't have been any better and we had a great crew with us. Yi and has friends first fishing trip was one I hope they wont forget. Plenty of bream joined the party with plenty making the grade for dinner later. These were joined by some good sized mackerel and some small plaice. The most popular guests of the day was the pod of Bottlenose dolphins that followed the boat for 20+ minutes. It was an amazing experience and the two young ones certainly put on a show for us all on board...very playful.
A truly memorable day. -

Report on-board Shy-Torque III
It’s been a while since we’ve compiled a report. Primarily because of the big Spring tides recently which thankfully have left us for a while.

Today we had a mixed group on board with some new faces which was good to see.
The Mackerel fishing is well and truly alive now, and with some “clonking” fish around we really don’t need that many in numbers to have enough for the bait stocks for the day.
One drift of just a couple of minutes and we had enough!
First stop offshore this morning was a wreck around an hours steam from the harbour.
The lads picked just half a dozen from that one.
A short 5 minute hop to the next one where they picked up just 2 fish.
We moved into the West a few miles then and tried a few wrecks in close proximity to each other. A poor result from those with just 4 fish off 3 wrecks.
I decided to move to some ground /reefs next and we found a little “nest” of fish where the lads picked around 8 fish up (6 of them being Ling) with one slightly better fish of just under 10lbs.
The last drop of the day was on a tiny piece of wreckage that seldom gets touched, and we rounded the day off with half a dozen from that one.
A request was made to have a stop back at the bouy on the way back to port to try for some fresh Mackerel to take home and, after just a couple of short drifts, the boys were well and truly stocked up with them.
A cracking calm and warm day on the water, which resulted in around 35 keepers for the lads which isn’t great I know, but combined with lovely Summer weather, made for a lovely day.
Cheers
Rich.
