Hi guys
Still a few fish about here on Trio lll
Biggest at the weekend 12/13 October was a 10.5lb cod and a 14lb ling
Still a few mackerel about aswell

A slow day for the best part of the for the lads on Sunday just gone. However we did come across a few fish over slack water again .
The lads ended up with around 35 fish for the day. Again, all the fish falling to the bait. Hokkai traces and pennel rigs baited with mackerel and squid.

The weather didn't disappoint today they said easterly strong and they were not wrong but we did have an ace up our sleeve an x trawler legend Kevin Abott most of you at Ramsgate would know him, just kept laughing at the swell. Had a few skate and hounds but had to admit defeat and head inshore but no joy just whiting and dogs and one skate but what a day I've lost my voice with laughter thank you David Warman for taking boat home while I skinned a few skate and Colin Wimbush for just being himself and Andrew for keeping going in hard conditions the whopper hot dogs did the trick though. Last Saturdays crew from Sheffield enjoyed a decent spell of fishing .
James Ellis and his mates had some reasonable fishing for about 3 hours over the "slack water" period. The artificials didn't work at all on the day and all the fish taken fell to the squid and mackerel baits.
Good company on the day and some nice fish for the table.
James is pictured with one of his fish. A nice cod of 8 lb 4 oz.

Bringing us up to date 13th Oct 2019 still getting odd thornbacks , been fishing inside due to the winds. Whiting a cast at the moment keeping us busy, odd small codling thrown in. Water temp 14 degrees going down slowly,still spotty dogs and odd small smoothound about. Website up to date with places got space Thurs 24th if weather allows looking to head out a bit also Sat 26th 4 places just come up if anyone interested. Cheers guys Jon (High Flyer 2)

Well over 200 cod to 4 lb pulling them up in. Threes every drop down tiding be starting in few weeks some nice big cod all move in to spawn get in touch for some nice cod
