  Last trip out was another nice one for the lads.
  
  Again, the fresh run mackerel doing the business. Some lovely quality cod and ling boated. Nicest looking fish of the day was caught by Alan from Scotland. who was with us for 2 days. A lovely golden 5lb codling .

  The inshore fishing on the Reefs, Banks, Mussel beds have produced Turbot, Brill, Plaice, Rays, Tope, Smooth Hounds,Congers Bull Huss , Black Bream, Bass, Gurnards etc. It is nice to see the Black Bream turning up on the Reefs now.
  
  Pictured is Keith Williams with his 12Ib Undulate Ray and new Personal Best.
  
  Sakuma Stinger Hooks sizes 1/0, 2/0 and 4/0 have been the favoured hooks for the inshore species.

  The lads have been getting right amount the cod on Sea-Otter 2 shads are now smashing it some excellent fishing in now in prospect give me a bell on 07748705695 .

  Good day on the fish today, 6 anglers bringing more 70 fish over the rails between 3 & 6lb, amongst the catch were cod, ling, pollack, wrasse, coalfish and mackerel. Some really good angling to be had these past 2 weeks.
  Also Colin Graham on the hubberston (large vessel blueye fleet) fishing the offshore wrecks landed around 50 between 5 & 7lb, all in all a great day for the blueye skipper's!

  A great day on the water yesterday with good weather and steady fishing for the lads.
  
  The fresh run mackerel at the bell bouy proved to be a big bonus with the majority of the fish falling to the baited rigs.
  
  A nice few doubles coming on board too which is a very encouraging sign for us. The ling are starting to poke their noses out now with the scent of the mackerel in the water. Hopefully we'll be finding some nice festival prize winners in the next comp which starts in 3 weeks.
  
  Pictured is Graham Stansfield from Leeds, a regular aboard the boat, with one of his braces of cod.

  With the school holidays, this past week we have been flat out on the 3hr taster trips, running twice daily the majority of the week. These trips are designed to get the kids out on the water fishing with the majority picking up arod for the first time. This week they haven't been disappointed with the trips producing good numbers of codlings and mackerel aswell as a few other species such as whiting, coal fish and pouting. We have had cod upto 7lb on the taster trips with my lad Dan joining us for a few trips he has also been amongst the cod. The artificial lures such as shads, hokkais etc have worked a treat aswell as squid bait. Today we had a 8hr, wreck fishing trip and from the first drop it was non stop action with over 150 fish boated with a brace of cod into double figures and a great stamp of codlings around the 3lb to 6lb mark aswell as pollock to 4lb and several ling to 7lb and string fulls of mackerel throughout the day it was non stop action and cracking sport for the lads with fresh mackerel bait don't the job aswell as hokkais and shads. Dave Jenkins had over 30 fish to himself. Around 60 good size fish were kept for the table with many good size fish returned.
  THE SUMMER FESTIVAL IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER WITH A MASSIVE £5000 IN CASH UP FOR GRABS AND WE HAVE SOME DATES AVAILABLE WITH GOOD TIDES.

  Out today with Shaun and four of his work mates from Harrogate a slow start but things picked up all the lads fished well and never gave up and were rewarded with some nice fish, great bunch of lads hope to see you all again.
