Report on-board Blueye 2
With the sea settling nicely we were hoping for better results than of late, gladly they were..... Not in massive amounts but we ended the day with over 25 fish for the 5 anglers who booked the full boat, a ling of 7-8lb being the best and the biggest cod was around 5lb, most of the fish were around the 2lb mark with a half dozen or so around 3lb and most of the catch was returned keeping a handfull for the pan. I feel we would have had more had the unforcast wind not come away! The mackerel are starting to show which should see the catch numbers increasing by the day so drop us a line or email us here, we also have a Facebook page which is also kept up to date. https://www.facebook.com/blueyeii

Report on-board Flamer IV
A morning session at anchor on a Bank produced some fine Blonde Rays which gave the anglers a tug on their tackle. The successful bait was squid and mackerel cocktails on pennel rigs of Sakuma Manta hooks.

Jon Trevett hooked into something which just tore off and came unhooked, a Shark may be! Pictured is Antonio Coparetto with his new Personal Best Blonde Ray weighing 24Ib.

Report on-board Mistress
A really great day at sea yesterday, nice weather, nice group of anglers and of course a few nice fish too!
View Boats Page
Mistress regular Jeff McNeil from York smashed his PB cod with a cracker topping out at 16lb on the boat scales,
We also saw our 1st moggy of the year to Bryn redfern, a 1st for him too!
All fish taken on either bait or shads, the jungle drums have started that there may have been a few mackerel caught locally too, so summer is definitely on it's way.
We've plenty of spaces next week if you fancy joining us for a trip, give me a call or text on 07977 436903

Fishing Report by Philip Higgins
on Mistress Linda / San Gina3 (Poole, Dorset)
10 May 2019 by Philip Higgins
Report on-board Mistress Linda / San Gina3
The trip today was planned as an offshore trip but with the predicted northerlies we choose to try new marks closer to home instead of Bream of which we have had plenty, the 1st mark produced a few dogs, Tope and pout so a change of location was needed. We looked at several marks and decided to try a bank we had crossed but not fished within minutes we had bites with more dogfish and reasonable sized Whiting coming aboard followed by lots of congers then Steve’s rod nearly came out of the rod holder and after a good battle he landed a new PB Bass of 14lb which was released to grow bigger, not resting there he then landed a nice lobster which he also returned. Overall a great day with plenty of fish and new marks in the plotter
