    Report on-board JFK TWO

    Monday 28th may
this bank holiday weekend has , seen the fishing remaining excellent. with around 80 to 100 fish being taken,
and cracking fun on the shads. with the fish nailing the shads, swallowing them right down.
especially when tipped with prawn and squid,
just as many on the baited hookies and daylites as well
a reasonable stamp of fish with a canny few in the 4 to 7lbs bracket.
and at last a fair few nice mackerel showing up. its all looking very promising.

    Report on-board High Flyer 2

Keeping us up to date this week seen some terrible north east winds ,we managed to get out for bit of local television filming few seals and terns not great for the camera crew but got job done!!! Managed a bass trip in the thick fog 2 days later got our first few mackerel and plenty of sandeels odd gurnard and weavers but only one small bass the water still bit dirty even on the 15 mile mark. Ended up coming inside catching few roker and small starry smoothounds to end that day. Picture today is of Saturday 26th trip held inshore by the weather quite a choppy little sea in a easterly only the one thornback but a good one of 12lb 5oz fell to groom to be Paul on stag party couldnt have gone to a better chap! Herring baits as usual couldnt catch a thing on peeler. Had spotty dogs all day then few small smoothounds towards end with odd whitting showing up all day. Big thanks to everyone for coming out this week been very testing with the weather, lost today with 35mph easterlys Sun 27th and had to cancel bank holiday 28th as well! Apart from that alls fine will be doing few evening trips with the arrival of the smoothounds hopefully some good sport, week starting 4th june tides are weak will be having a go on the feathers if we can get out a bit. So until then tight lines enjoy the windy bank holiday its probably shopping for me now cant wait!!!
    Cheers everyone,
    Jon (High Flyer 2)

24 May 2018 by Cliff Grant

    Report on-board Blue Moon

Had to move marks a couple of times yesterday but my crew worked their socks off. Finished the day with 50 fish including Brill, Undulate and Thonback Rays. Fair share of Doggies!!!! Aargh!!! Very foggy on the way back to Poole but fish where marking throughout the return journey and i think we’ve turned the corner and the summer species are at last here and feeding. Great day out and most enjoyable.
