Uptide fishing now under way 6hr trips fishing around the tide day and evening, Trip out Saturday 2nd December 9 lads travel from London a litte slow at first but as the tide started to run the fish started to show,

Fishing remains superb with large numbers af whiting,dogfish and dabs .
A few small codling and odd skate are showing as well with a chance af a better one now the weather has got much colder.

Heavy going day today on board the wave dancer. big 10m tides didn’t help however Some decent codling caught, plenty of whiting and dabs.
Weekend spaces available:
17th 7 spaces
23rd 6 spaces

The weather is playing havoc here at Whitby with then northerly winds next week there is break with winds swinging back to land so a window will give us a chance to get back on the cod Tuesday and Wednesday look like the best 2 days next week so if you fancy smashing those cod give me a bell on 07748705695 we will be Uptiding and after all these northerly winded it should be alive with fish .

At this time Of year when many charter boat on the South coast are sadly blown off because of the weather, although we don't have the same amount of species they do on the Essex coast we do have very sheltered waters that hold Whiting, Codling, Pouting, Thornback Rays, and lot's of inshore
e Dab's, and virtually never have to cancel to weather... so if you are serious about getting out and don't want to be cancelled call Vanishing Point-2 one of the largest Catamarans in the UK fleet in the River Blackwater in Essex for a trip un-spoilt by the weather.
Even on these bitter cold days with wind chill factor of -3 outside the temperature inside her massive wheelhouse is kept to 67 degrees all day long so no need to freeze yer whats-it's off...

The Christmas Break for some of us is nearly upon us and we have our Biguns & Whoppers® Festive competitions coming up. We originally put up 2 days but due to demand we have added a third day which sold out within hours of being released.
The 3 dates are the 27th, 29th and the 30th of December all to be separate competitions and all free to enter and with prizes to be won, but the heaviest fish over the 3 days will win the "Alastair Finch " Memorial cup.

It's been a really great Autumns fishing on Piscary with plenty of the summer species around like Bass,Mackerel,Garfish,Undulate Rays to 17lb 8oz,Congers to 53lb,Double figure Smoothounds, Red Mullet,Trigger fish,loads of Plaice, Turbot, Brill,Bream to 4lb,Sole,Long,Bullhuss to 13lb,double figure Pollack as well as the winter fish starting to show with plenty of decent Whiting to over 3lb and Spurdogs to 20lb .Well done to Steve Collins who won fish of the month for September with a 1lb 10 1/2oz Cuckoo Wrasse and is now likely to win again in November with a 20lb Spurdog he wins a Bungee Spongee and a Piscary woolly Hat.

Still stacks of fish showing on both the offshore and inshore marks here at Whitby.
The back end of last week was a little inclement but because the fish are so plentiful we were hitting them as soon as we were touching the bottom. A lovely selection of Cod and Pollack on the ground and nearly all the fish taken on the shads and sidewinders. Any colour doing the business. Bait also taking a few fish.
If you fancy a trip with us either inshore at anchor or on the offshore wrecks and ground, give me a call on 07733 233352. We will sail with just 2 anglers on the anchor trips and 4 anglers on the offshore trips. Free tea, coffee and biscuits all day on the inshore anchor trips.
Fridays team are pictured with some of their fish. The boat will continue work throughout the winter including the Xmas period.

The cod fishing at Whitby continues to be excellent stacks of fish the lads on Friday rattled them out blacks and squid fishing very well it’s non stop action on the cod the weather has stopped play but first opportunity we will be back on the cod if you fancy getting in on the action give me a bell on 07748705695 .
