Report on-board PLAN B
Had a party of fathers and children at weekend and the weather and fishing were spot on.
Around 40 skate some dogfish and nice large whiting for a bit of variety came over the side.
I will start hunting for hounds this weekend and have been stocking up with hermits the past few months so bait won't be an issue.

Fishing has improved stacks of skate about Lots of double figure fish had some nice bass last few weeks bigest 8lb so far good start to the season but only sport until july 1st !! little hounds showning up now a good sign gurnard at 3.3LB not long until summer fishing is in full swing not many dates left so call 07523488290 to book up time to get out and enjoy the weather and fishing

Saturday 8th April, We had 5 lads out today and I thought I push just a little it just a little bit more out today in hope of clear water and better chance of some fish with inshore marks very slow for us this time of year, Has the tide turned we did a wreck in clear water and the day paid off with a few cod and ling,

Our 3rd trip after being out of the water after bieng painted and refreshed, lovely flat calm day,fished in shore of Prestatyn, tons of Whiting, and the Dabs are starting to fatten up, a few Dogfish and one Codling and Bulhuss, looking forward to next trip in the morning.

Today saw the best of the Bream fishing this season so far, although the start was slow and forced a move we soon were into Bream with several double shots coming aboard the fish were on the small side and all returned, it is very encouraging for the next few weeks. As a bonus a small Turbot gave Pete a surprise thinking he had another dogfish.

Hi everyone,
The boat is being lifted from the water the last week of this month for her 5 year survey, antifouling and polish, so we will be ready for full time work again from around the 5th May. Plenty of availability during May including some weekend spaces too. I will sail with a minimum of 3 anglers this year.
Please call anytime between 8am and 8pm for any enquiries. Individuals are always very welcome aboard the boat along with any newcomers to the game. Everyone very well looked after.

Saturday saw us back on the skate again with our anglers taking over 60 many in double figures ...good rod bending fun !!!!
sunday we wanted something different and we got it ......
mackerel / grey gurnard /tub gurnard /sandeel / weaver/ dab / whiting/ herring and about 15 plaice to 2.5lb
summer species are here on the banks and the turbot and brill wont be far away
not to mention the bass and smoothounds that will arrive this month
we often have spaces available at the weekends and during the week so give us a call

The new Lead Us is finally back in the water working out of Lowestoft is ready to take bookings for Easter onward. With a warm welcome back to all my old customers and hopefully many new. Being much bigger new Lead Us offers much more comfort and space with the ability to take more people.

Again with the winds over the past few weeks being so unpredictable this has kept a lot of the fleet on the moorings, but a break in the weather recently allowed us to go to sea on Sunday. Although the fishing was quite tough we still managed to pick up some decent Pollock. The day was a success and all made the better by the anglers, a lot of banter and some good laughs.
Remember we have the Brixham Plaice competition on the 5th and 6th of June between Obsession, Spot on and Off the hook and we still have some limited spaces left so give Kev a call on 07964 053347 to book you place
