Its been a week since our last update, its been a steady week with us landing some quality fish, anglers aboard Mistress have seen Ling to 15lb on baited lures and plenty of Cod between 8lb & 10lb on shads.
The same group booked me for three days for a corporate event, and took some quality fish between them throughout the three days.The weather was kind to us and the lads wanted a BBQ one day so we arranged that for them!
I'm happy to accommodate any requests on the boat.
As the tides eased the fishing inshore came on with bang on the shads again. I had a couple of new anglers aboard that caught very well, these lads did the research on my website and followed the advise on the pages.

Well thats another month over with and all in all it has ben another good one onboard "Just Fishing" of Brixham.
The last weekend of the month saw plenty of Rod bending action on the deeps for Ling and Conger.
Im really looking forward to August and the start targeting the Black Bream along with the bigger Conger. Aug 1st 2016 bringing us up to date , steamed out ten miles offshore to a favourite mark of mine the weather perfect, bit of strong tides start of the springs but we coped well i thought. Started off fishing for tope straight away with mackerel from previous day Tom caught first one of 28lb nice fish unfortunately grazed and rubbed all skin off his arm little bit of claret but hes hard! Slack water approaced so feathers out for the usual tons of sandeels, few mackerel still not thick, plenty of weavers and nice little gurnards too with odd flatty about. After slack Fishing was a bit tough in the tide has couple of runs which amounted to nothing ended up doing a bit of bassing on the drift but no bass today . Only other boated tope was todays picture of Chris first tope for him so though be nice to show weighed in at 25lb leaving him tottally knackered and needing a tea! Used the new tailer today pleased with that as very angry customers these tope like to bite anything onboard so count your toes afterwards! wasnt the most productive of days tope wise but ok for the tides and feathers made up for it, big thanks to Steve for organising the trip Tom and Chris and first timers Brett , Andy and Nathan much appreciated men look forward to next time. Hi
The fishing during July was extremely good with plenty of quality rays being caught, now the Mackeral are in the Tope have arrived in quantity although we have not landed any 'big' fish the best seems to be in the mid 20s but great fun on light gear. The harbour often throws up something special and true to form on 1 drift we landed Plaice, Turbot, Brill, Bream, Wrasse and a sizeable Bass. The Swash channel is producing Plaice along with Red Mullet.
Anchoring the wrecks proves hectic with lots of Congers, Ling, Pollack and a few Cod along with plenty of Tope . View Boats Page

Ian Slater landed three Blonde Rays in successive drops while fishing a Bank.Ian was using 20Ib class tackle with a flowing trace baited with half a mackerel fillet presented on a Sakuma 4/0 Stinger hook. Ian is pictured with the biggest weighing 16Ib 11oz. All the rays were released alive.
