Report on-board High Flyer 2
Bringing us up to date looks like plenty smoothounds about crab best bait at moment. Having a bit of fun with them also few bass about if you want to fish for them, Getting a few mackerel if we can get out not thick at the moment but that will come, plenty of sandeels huge ones too! Cant shake the whiting inshore and off, nice to see few gurnards as well, Spotty dogs thinned out which is a blessing looking at flatty bashing soon as these tides drop off, this weekend could see few tope after these springs. Big thanks to the parties last week on Jeff Becks managed to get out and hit few mackerel and then inshore for smoothies, on Alan Becks strong winds kept us right inshore so harder fishing managed few smoothies mixed bag of whiting and not forgetting whelks! Right up to date pictured here was Wed 6th trip hit the smoothounds first bit of the tide then onto the bass bank for a few bass odd sandeel as well on the feathers ended up enjoyable day in the sun shame still on big tides but thought we done well. Full boat next week everyday unfortunately few places week after still ring might be able to fit you on another local vessel. Until then tight lines to you all, must arrange a few night trips as been asked all the while i do need a bit of sleep sometimes! Cheers Jon. (High Flyer)

Wrecking seems to be carrying on where June left off with Plenty of hard fighting summer Pollock.
The Cod numbers are also getting better. A Few large fish were also lost today with several Anglers getting busted up......
The Pollock and Cod are coming up on a wide range of coloured Lures however Pink did seem to have the edge today.
Dont forget we have Conger and Bream trips coming up this month as well as Bassing trips,Reefing trips, Ray trips and Skerries trips... Something for everyone!
So if you wish to join "Just Fishing" of Brixham please call us on 01803 530001 or visit our website

Fish over the last month: - The Skerries are still producing some good fish along with the Plaice and Ray's we are seeing Turbot and Brill and even the Gurnards have started to appear. Out on the wrecks things are a bit hit and miss at the moment with Pollock still around but smaller in size and quantity we have also seen Ling and pout although no Bass yet but due to the regulations we have not as yet been targeting them. Inshore things are much as they have been for most of the year with mackerel still scarce and very tide dependant. We still have plenty availability for the rest of the year with some good fishing out Brixham

Report on-board TROT- ON
Sunday saw us joined by a mix of anglers hoping to be in with a chance of winning the W.C.S.A summer festival and the £5000 1st place prize. Fishing was hard today due to the big tides and a stiff breeze in the aftetnoon did not help. However Martin from E. Yorks managed to tempt a Ling of over 10lb to win the daily prize of £50 we had a varied selection of fish with Cod, Ling, Whiting, Pollack, Coalies and Pouting as well as the odd few mackerel which are starting to show up. Fish were falling to Shads, Bait and hokki"s
