    Weymouth Angling Breaks -
A few days away fishing out of Weymouth along with the social side is a nice trip to do.The variety of fishing and the amount of different species caught at Weymouth is probably second to none. There are plenty of places to stay which are angler friendly and some excellent places to wine and dine around the harbour and in Weymouth Town centre.
If you want to try a Weymouth Angling Break then contact me, I cater for whole boat charters and individuals.
Planning your trip well in advance is essential you need to arrange your boat booking and your accommodation as early as possible to avoid disappointment, some of my regular groups plan their trips at least 12 months in advance, this allows them to discuss with me the best tides for the type of fishing they are targeting.

  • 13/06/2016 Fishing Report by Jason Parrott on Lady Ann (Ramsgate, Kent)

13 Jun 2016 by Jason Parrott

    Report on-board Lady Ann

Not bad day today, managed to push off shore on to wreck on the Goodwin Sands.
Had a really busy day with lots of Smoothounds, odd Skate and a few Bass all returned for the future.
Simon Snodding took his first ever Smoothound at 9lbd on the nose and very pleased about it he looks.
A bit of excitement today we had a mutiny, young Capn Jim stood me down as skipper and I had to slum it on deck
    with the punters.
    Well fished everyone.
See you all again in 2 weeks.

  • 06/2016 Fishing Report by Simon Fisher on Just Fishing (Brixham, Devon)

    Jun 2016 by Simon Fisher

    Report on-board Just Fishing

After my short break away "Just Fishing" of Brixham has been out in search of the Cod.
Unfortunately we had missed the calm settled weather of the previous week and were given a dull day will a fresh SW breeze.
It wasn't long until the first Rod was bent over and a Ling surfaced which was a nice surprise as it took a small jelly worm.
As the day went on the breeze freshened which made the fishing a bit more tricky, Pollock were coming onboard as the tide started running as well as a real fat bellied Cod just shy of 16lb.
As the day went on the boat was drifting too fast to make the fishing worth while so a steam into shallow water and an inshore wreck produced some more Pollock for the lads.
Back out on the Wrecks next Sunday 19th with spaces available.
