Report on-board Sally Ann Jo
Wrecking trips are still producing a reasonable number of cod. Last Saturdays trip also saw a few red gurnard to lures in 60m of water and this lovely 9.5lb bass for Andy Magor. Reefs and banks are producing good numbers of bream. Bull huss, conger and undulate rays are making appearances and testing light gear when fishing for bream. For the species hunters amongst you theres always the red band fish.

Fishing Report by Rich Cope
on Mistress (Whitby, North Yorkshire)

Report on-board Mistress
We've been hampered here in Whitby for a day and had to cut yesterday short due to weather, we managed to sneak in 6 hours yesterday but it was more than enough time to get the lads some fish!
View Boats Page
The reefs have been throwing out a lot of fish, we finished our last drift by 1115am yesterday morning and the 8 lads onboard had already taken well over 100 cod, the best angler catching over 30 himself, it really doesnt get much better!
Everybody onboard returned as many as they took, just keeping the better fish.
we have spaces this week remaining tomorrow (wednesday) and thursday,
If youre interested in a trip with me on Mistress, give me a call on 07977 436903, e-mail: seafishingwhitby@hotmail.co.uk or drop me a message on my FB page, Mistress Sea Angling Charters,

but what a belting fish Dave caught on sunday 16/8/18 from Melton district angling club what a lovely fish a whopping 26.5lb well done him.
Lets hope the fishing stays this good and hopefully as we get towards the end of August and into September the bigger fish should start to come on
