i had not fished on lees boat for many years.good to see he is still the same chatty helpful friendly guy i remember!!!!
in line with the vessels name,lee did some wandering to eventually put us on fish---conditions kept us inshore on this day-with fish taking anything sent down to them although pink hokkis seemed to have the edge--as always in fishing some had more and some had less--i had 3 to keep 2 to put back and at least a doz "missed" bites--one lad was catching 3 and 2 at a time--so all in all a bit of a lumpy day--but enjoyable.
cant fish without a mention for Karl,the crewman,helpful guy --even offered to carry this old geezers gear up to the car cheers Karl---and Lee

Due to a very last minuite cancellation yesterday of a full boat i got a call from a gentleman who wanted to take his son on a days fishing so with a lovelly forcast i agreed to take just the 2 of them now this does not happen very often 2 getting the who boat to yourselves unless book a full charter its a bit of fun for myself and my crewman dave he can do some fishing .
The father and son have done some fishing the young norbert who is 14 years old hasnt caught what you would call a good sized cod well this was about to change and the look on his face when his rod is bent double says it all .

Hi Guys
we just had 12 novice angler on today, and they were just so pleased at the fact most had never been on a boat before, let alone fished from one..!!! but under the careful guidance of me and Nicola, they listened well and learned to wait for the bites, and they had over 40 Thornback rays and a lovely 4lbs Codling, so everyone went home happy..... just how we like it.
Tomorrow we will be targeting more Thornback Rays, and still looking for the odd Codling that are late leavers....!!!! along with the early Bass which are starting to get about...
Just a foot not: they returned most of the fish back to fight another day, fantastic..!!

Saturday 16th may
fishing has been excellent this week taking 60-100 nice fish per trip.
today was even better with over 150 plus cod taken, in very windy conditions
and it was the girls showing the boys how to do it today,
in the shape of mother and daughter team. jfk regular Teresa and first timer daughter Kathrine.
Teresa caught over 25 cod herself, and now her daughter is hooked after beating everyone
for the sweep and catching a cracking cod over 9lbs well done the two of them.

A long awaited trip out with all the lads on a boat we have heard nothing but praise about & after a few last minuite dramas we finally arrived on mass at Brighton on friday morning.
We were welcomed straight away be Terry, who introduced us all to Jay, & after the obligitory safety speech off we went.
Most of us had never been sea/wreck fishing before & this was explain to our hosts, to say they were attentive is an understatement, they both were as keen to impart there knowledge as we were to catch fish & we were not disapointed, although the weather was a littl choppy at the start this soon settled to a fantastic day out, i had for the first time both my sons with me, &, at one point all 3 of us were hooked up at the same time , it just doesnt get any better than that, the day ended with a good haul of cod, pollock, whiting, & pouting.
Terry & Jay are fantastic hosts both patient, informative & humours the kept a weathered eye on every member doing there utmost to ensure every one caught even to the degree that if one of us tangled they were straight onto us getting us sorted & back fishing.
I cannot praise Terry, Jay, & seebreez3 enought one of our best trips out, i hadnt even got home before some of the lads that had not been before were on the phone asking for another trip to see Terry,be assured i will be calling him real soon. View Boats Page

A fabulous change in fortunes from the day before for the lads on the boat. A perfect flat calm morning welcoming us.
Chris Parkin and his 7 mates from Leeds joined the boat for the usual 7.0am start.
7 out of the 8 were relatively new to the game so an exercise in ground fishing was definately in order to start the day. A 20 minute steam to the first mark arriving at 7.30am
We dropped back on the ground on the 5 mile where we've been seeing some exceptional fishing of late. The first drift was very encouraging indeed with every rod taking fish. Nothing big really with cod to around the 7lb mark.
The next time I looked at the clock it was turning 1.30pm. The cod had been coming on board steadily all morning and the boxes were starting to overflow!!!
At 2.0pm Chris the organiser decided that they had all caught enough and we decided on an early finish returning to port at 2.30pm to begin the filleting.
The lads did a fish count as I filleted and returned a figure of 143!!!! Not a bad mornings sport at all !!
