Hi,we fished over the top of the tide on sunday at the pluckie bank,had four nice rays an.d two,doggies,bait was,lug worm,and unwashed squid,bookong now being taken for winter cod fishing thanks ste dalton.

Hi Everyone ! Apologies for a lack of blog stuff lately but lots of trips plus a new project that should keep me busy this Winter has kept me away from CBUK reports.....so if you've been waiting for your photos to appear then they will be on here soon ! Busy months for me this June, July and August plus some trips for the hut on the Quay (SFP) now run by my mate Stevie P, Jill, Rik and Sheila....we even managed to get on the telly when they were filming a News bit about the new Wind Farm Project in our Bay. Bloke was talking just as 'Just Mary' cruised past in the background at Sandbanks.....all the passengers waving at the cameraman.....someone must love me somewhere ! We've been doing some really mixed trips lately, not only the usual Hire rod or Stag Party Summer work plus my Loyal Regular Anglers but Social Services work for the Elderly, Dementia Sufferers, Mentally and Physically Handicapped and other 'Service Users'. We had one lad out as part of a group who had Downes Syndrome, never been on a boat, never been fishing.....you get the picture.....anyway we showed him how to use a rod and reel and he landed Mackerel on feathers.....lots of them.....the look of achievement on his face just puts all the stuff we do into another dimension.....some photos will follow soon ! I know that to some Skippers this type of work isn't what they're into but I'll tell you this, if you're not affected by the joy that you can easily bring to less disadvantaged people then you're missing out a big part of what being a human being on this planet is all about. one of the best boats i have been on, the skipper and crew were first class. one guy landed 7 ling, not a lot of fish around but everyone landed some thing. a good 10 hr day fishing

AUGUST 2014 - Reg Phillips and friends from Sussex did a 5 day Angling Break and enjoyed some wonderfu flatty and ray fishing. They had some superb Plaice with plenty of fish in 4 to 5Ib plus bracket.On the Ray front they caught several Blonde Rays up to 18Ib 8oz and Undulate Rays to 12Ib. Reg himself landed the best specimen of the trip with a Brill weighing 7Ib 8oz (pictured).
ANGLING BREAKS - A few days away fishing out of Weymouth along with the social side is a nice trip to do.The variety of fishing and the amount of different species caught at Weymouth is probably second to none.I am now taking bookings for such trips in 2015. So give me a call to plan and book your Angling Break.

Still some good cod fishing here at whitby but the lings in size have really come out to play personal bests just keep coming on sea- otter 2 as allways the lads get 110% effort every time .

24th August 2014, 10 Anglers out today what a day today never two days alike big northley swell for first half of the day but that diding stop us from wrecking slow at first with just a few cod to 5lb and ling to 5lb, as the day went on and we hit a wreck 8 mile off just on low water time it right the fish was spot on good flow of ling coming in from 8lb to 14lb, some better cod to 6lb, and a nice coal fish to 4lb,

23dr August 2014, 9 Anglers out today with a big sea running NNW wind but we still hit the wrecks fishing again on the slow side but the lads still took cod to 5lb and Pollock to 7lb, and a couple of ling to 5lb, One young lad done very well taken 2 cod to 5lb, and 2 Pollock with the best of the day at 7lb beating most of the other anglers some of whom got no fish and the rest 1 or 2 fish, The young lad fishing with his dad who took no fish and had seasick all day,

21st August 2014, 7 Anglers out today bit of a sea running and couple with the wind made it hard work today fishing very slow with only white fish the odd Pollock, and a dog fish the first iv had in a very lot of years,
