The Ray fishing has been superb all year and the latest session fishing for them was no exception. Mark Cook from Devon landed two Undulate Rays which were the first of this species he had ever caught and has a new PB of 11Ib now.Trevor Cozens form Peterborough landed his Personal Best Blonde Ray weighing in at 20Ib(pictured) Trevor also landed a 12Ib Undulate Ray. Kevin Clark from Plymouth caught a 14Ib 2oz Blonde Ray which is his new Personal Best. The successful bait for all the rays was cocktails of Ammo Squid and Mackerel presented on pennel rigs of 6/0 and 4/o Sakuma stinger hooks. All the Rays were returned alive.

1st August 14, 10 lads out today on a 4hr trip fishing over rough ground took cod to 3 half lb and ling to 10lb been the best one of the day as well or over 100 mackerel, Also the last 2 days Wednesday and Thursday anglers took cod to 4lb and ling to 8 half lb also 100"s of mackerel, Total for the whole week between 50 anglers well over 300 cod and ling off the rough ground,

The run of good Cod continues for us on Mistress, Mark Wilky a regular angler with us, caught a couple of crackers yesterday, both into double figures, he also took a nice double figure ling earlier in the day too.
The fishing was hard work due to the breeze but we managed to find a few better fish for the lads.

We have been nailing some superb cod this week, Mistress regular Andy Bettison from St Helens, has smashed his PB again this week with a cracking Cod a shade under 11lb, a cracking fish on a day where we saw a number of double figure fish on board.

Another 20lb ling today thats 3 over 20lb in the last month on sea otter 2 small tides next week so finger crossed could that 30lb + be on the cards.

Couldnt go out today due to the weather however, it is looking good for the weekend so we might get out and hopefully get plenty of fish.

Monday- 10 spaces availble for 8-10 hours sail at 6:30am
Tuesday- 3 spaces availbe for an 8 hour sail at 7:30am
Wednesday- FULL
Thursday- 8 spaces avaible for a hour sail at 8:30am

The fishing is brilliant at the moment with plenty of large hounds to keep me busy.
Bass are less prolific and skate have disappeared but the hounds really are worth catching.
We are averaging about 30 hounds per trip and over half are double figures. View Boats Page

Well we`re at the end of July, and what a month its been!
Its been a great month again for the Cod. Becca Marie has been using her comfortable speed and stability along with our great local knowledge to get our Anglers into the action, We`ve had Cod on the inshores and offshores and giving our Fishermen plenty of fishing time instead of a boat ride, 8hr and 10hr trips have produced good numbers of fish coming onboard.
We have also been on the Banks with Plaice numbers still going strong aswell as inshore reefs for the Bass.
Next month we will be offering more trips Targeting Bass inshore and offshore, aswell as trips targeting Pollock,Cod and Ling.....
We also now have our "Becca Marie" Bass challenge ( The first angler to catch a 10lb+ Bass onboard wins a free trip)
With 10hr wrecking trips at £55 and inshore Bassing trips at £45 we offer great value for money and always great banter and laugh onboard aswell as doing our best to get our anglers on the fish.

29th july 14, 7 young anglers out today for a birthday treat all 9 year old"s and my diding they do well they took more cod and mackerel in there 2hr trip than the 10 anglers I had out the day before for 6hrs, they took 5 cod home to 4lb and a 100 mackerel,
