Individs day. 31 of October 2013 ,Today we left the marina giving the usual safety brief and heading to lock out, i got chatting to the lads and 1 lady , about what fish they had caught and was informed by Dieter he had never caught a Cod and his son Alex had never caught a ray ,so i explained that the Cod had not arrived in any numbers yet but we would do our best,We settled on the mark which i thought would give us our best chance of cod ,after they had been shown how we present the bait they all began fishing we had plenty of Whiting to 1.5 lbs straight away, we had Thornback rays Dabs and 5 Codling the best 3 lbs 2 oz
DIETER HAD HIS FIRST COD 2.5 LBS 2OZ WHO HAD NOT FISHED FOR 9 YEARS Due to having his leg amputated due to a problem whilst in hospital he fished all day on a prosthetic limb well done Dieter absolute Insperation to us all.
Alan had a Cod of 3lb2oz
Chris 9lbs 8 oz thornback ray personal best. Well done.
H from Coventry lost a big fish whilst being distracted .
overall a great day with plenty of Laughs and banter see you all again

Tuesday 29th October Alans group
We left the marina and headed out to try and catch some fish for the table, we arrived at our mark for the morning and the lads where baiting the rigs up whilst the boat settled on the anchor,as soon as the 1st bait had touched the bottom Whiting began attacking it the fish started flying in with some of the whiting touching 1.5 lbs,These being closely followed by Thornback rays and Codling to 3lb 1oz. The fishing was like this all day so the lads opted to stay put and not move resulting in 15 rays to 9lbs 3 oz and possible 80 to 90 whiting View Boats Page

26.10.13 Simons stag trip.
We left the marina at approx 4 am and headed out into the river we decided to head to a mark that had produced fish for us a couple of days previous, We where not disappointed we had plenty of thornback rays
Whiting to 1 lb 13 0z Dabs,Dogfish,and Codling to 2lb 8oz overall everybody caught plenty of fish, great day with plenty of banter . Good luck in January Simon.

Even though we got some good fish yesterday, the fishing was a bit slow for my liking, with this in mind I fished a different area today. and it payed dividends for us!
The fishing was never hectic but we got fish everywhere we stopped, the best lad, Mistress regular Ceiren from Cumbria took 16 Cod himself upto 7lb, Next best bag went to Matt from York who also fishes Whitby very regularly taking 10 or 11 himself, Ceirens mate Liam, who took a daily prize in the main summer festival also took 8 Himself. I think the daily tally was easily between 50 and 60 Cod for the lads today
Everyone had fish to take home.
Best baits again was squid and worm, also tipped with a bit mussel.

Another great day out with John and Dave a couple of days after the storm we managed to get out and did some drifting a wrecking we had a good catch and a good range of species - Plaice,Codling,Pollack,Mackerel,Pouting,Gurnard and sea bass all were a good size and John kept checking to give us the best chances in the best places while Dave helped out with bait and support . We had tea /coffee all day and the bacon rolls were great along with the chicken curry . Overall a great trip and a great day this is a really good boat and skipper looking for maximum opportunities he is not one to sit there lock the door and let you get on with it . Will be back soon , jeff and team from BT

Today we have bettered our best fish so far this uptiding season,
The lad called Big C ( by his pals ) from Birmingham, took the best fish today just a smidge under double figures, the fish was in fantastic condition, was taken on one of our Daiwa Kenzaki Hire rods, coupled up with a Slosh 30, braid main line, the bait was squid and worm presented on a pennel rig with 5/0 hooks.
So lads with only a couple of days left until the festival the big ones are starting to show!
We still have a few spaces left, so drop me a line if youre interested

Hi all ,fishded the river mersey on sunday started off at pluckie,had doggie,yes i know.then some good size flatties,and whitting.moved to egg bouy,had same also one ray.then off down to the brombough channel only afew pin whitting one good 6
size dab.tryed off the dingle bouy sweet fa their.last stop back to the pluckie,which fished ok. View Boats Page

Despite the weather we have been afloat on the odd ocassion,with some succes, an early showing of nice size cod and other species,we now look forward to a break in the weather to take advantage of the inshore fishing for Cod ,Bass ,Conger and other species moving in to feed.

1 the best days fishing in a long time the skipper and deckhand were the best caught loads fish and most of all had a good crack well looked after from start to end ov fishing wot a day will be back on the 9th nov for the cod and sum propper pies hahah thanks again steve and lee
