PSS Lads.
Out on the 8th with the lads from PSS. Such a surprise with the weather being nice for a change. Fished several marks today. First produced some pollack, pouting and gurnard. Then we went and dropped the anchor. Straight away the lads started getting huss. Mark hooked into a decent fish only for it to come off. A few of the guys landed smaller huss to 9lb. Then Shaun hooked and landed a massive 17lb 1oz BullHuss. 12yr old Francis who had never fished before kept catching doggies and other bits until patience paid off and he landed a lovely 13lb 13oz huss, which was nearly as big as him. Plenty more huss were brought aboard. Some nice tub, grey and red gurnard were brought aboard. Plenty of scad were brought in with a lovely 1lb 13oz specimen by Nev. With the sea like a mirror some of the guys (after a late night on the ale) decided to chum. This clearly brought on the doggies as Phil seemed to be the dog fish king. One of the lads( Not mentioning names MARK) doesnt believe in suntan cream as he was the colour of a tomato by the end of the day.
Great bunch of lads who we look forward to seeing soon.

Report on-board Why Worry
Yesterday should of been a Tope fishing day.The wind put a stop us getting as far Offshore as you need to go for these toothy critters. We made the most of some attrocious weather by not going so far.We had some nice Bass,Thorrnbacks and smaller Smooth Hounds. The Mackerel were in abundance too so fresh bait wasn't a problem.

With so many trips lost this summer due to the adverse weather it was nice to actually get the party a day out....Something we haven't been able as often as normal this Summer.

Report on-board Duke IV
Despite the awful weather we are still getting out to the fish on Duke IV. We visited the wrecks yesterday in the small weather window and all the anglers caught fish, mostly Cod with a few Pollock and a single Bass for Andy who was visiting Kent from Australia. Chris who often fishes with us caught the biggest Cod of the day a touch over 10lb. Young Robbie who was suffering with seasickness due to the swelly conditions managed

his first Cod, a fish around 6lb that could not resist the black n red jellyworm.
Today with the weather much better than forcast we headed north with Gregs group on a corporate day. Plenty of fish were landed with the doggies being thick on the ground. Greg landed a School Bass followed by a nice Skate. The wind then picked up and we headed inshore where Darren landed two nice Bass, best being 5lb+ in concecutive casts on mackerel chunks. We headed further inshore for some Mackerel and a small Gurnard.
Still spaces this Sunday and next Thursday 19th for individuals. Come to Ramsgate for some great fishing!
