    Report on-board Supanova II

Just returned from the first trip to the channel Islands. Fantastic fishing, great weather and a great bunch of lads made it a lovely week.

Plenty of TUrbot and some lovely Pollack and Cod on the way home.

Returned to some north east breeze so the weekends trips through up some nice bream so hopefully things continue in what has proved to be a fantastic season from Weymouth so far.

Thanks to all that continue to make Weymouth what it is.

    Tight lines!

    Report on-board Flamer IV

MAY 2012 - Mark Laker and friends from Kent joined Flamer IV for a two day angling break. The first day was spent offshore wrecking and numerous Pollack were caught along with a cod and some monster pouts. The fish came on a variety of lures but the rhubarb and custard sidewinder again proved to be the best one.Unfortunatley for Mark he was a blanker on the day not catching a fish all day.Matt Hayes landed the best Pollack which weighed 12Ib with the lucky lure being a pink red gill.Matt is pictured with his Pollack.Day 2/ was breezy with a few showers about, first a session at anchor produced plenty of Bull Huss,Dogfish and Pouts, even Mark caught plenty of these. Then we drifted the Shambles Bank for Turbot but on this occassion the Turbot were not hungry, such is fishing,I'm sure we will have them next time. The lads enjoyed their stay in Weymouth and their trips out on Flamer IV.

FANCY AN ANGLING BREAK ABOARD FLAMER IV then give me a call.I cater for groups and also individuals.
NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR 2013 - SO think ahead and book a few days fishing out of Weymouth on Flamer IV with a local knowledgeable skipper.

    Report on-board Flamer IV

MAY 2012 - Owen Poplett and crew from Sussex enjoyed a mixed days fishing aboard Flamer IV the day after a storm.Amazingly the sea state was very good and the sun came out, however the water was very cloudy and coloured up so the majority of the days fishing was done at anchor on a bank and a reef.Several species were caught including a 10Ib Small Eyed Ray and a 4Ib 12oz Spotted ray both caught by Paul Francis.A conger and several good size Spurdogs and Smooth Hounds and the usual dogs and pouts.A couple of drifts were done which produced two plaice and a dab. Most of the lads landed their first and/or Personal Best Spurdogs.Owen landed the biggest Spur which weighed 17Ib with the successful bait being two Ammo calamari squid. All the Spurs and smooth hounds were released alive.Owen is pictured with his big Spur.

MAY - during the next month there are a variety of trips planned on Flamer IV including Reef,Bank,Wreck and Flatty Fishing with lots of trips for individuals.

Just a quick update for the last couple of weeks.

Have been out when the weather allowed us to, fishing marks around the river and rock channel. One trip over the bar had mackeral early on. Fishing has been quiet due to the change over from winter to summer. Expecting the fishing to pick up any day now. The times we have got out, plenty of dabs, plaice, flounder, whiting, doggies and the occasional rays and codling have made an appearance.

    Roll on the warm weather!
