Report on-board Vanishing Point-2
Hi chaps, Vanishing Point-2 is on her way back to Bradwell, she left Barrow on the 4/10/14 and has made a stop in Padstow, to have a new bow section fitted, and to do a bit of survey work at the port, but we should be done there in about a week of so, then we will continue our way to Bradwell, a home VP-2 has never seen.
View Boats Page
Once we are back in Bradwell we will take a week or so to rig her for charter fishing, and then ready to welcome the many of you that have been tring to book her, and I am sure you will not be disapointed.
see you all real soon....

Report on-board Seawatch1
The fishing has been steady on Seawatch over the last few weeks with good numbers of codling up to 2lb with the odd bigger fish to 8lb,still good numbers of Thornbacks a few whiting and the ever present spotty dogs(love them) Today saw Colin ,Peter,Phil and Berni shared a catch of sixty plump codling and five rays plus a few quality whiting.so some good fishing on offer and the weather is still pleasantly warm.

Report on-board High Flyer 2
Great day today light winds plenty of sunshine pleasure to be out. Strong tides today last of them decided to keep inshore again no choice really but paid off with fish virtually all day long from the off. Most fish small codling keepers among them returned three quarters of them even though in size limits great to see conservation wish we all saw that around the country we would have far more sport. Whiting pain again not too many biggies today our fresh herring bringing in the better ones. Only one small skate today for Ian, few pouting as well over the rocky ground with few spotty dogs coming in and surprisingly few nice flounders reasonable size on rough ground! Pictured today is Chris and Dave press ganged late last night at nearly 8.00pm to take quick picture for report , no one wanted to go home! Ended up with over 60 plus codling easily lost count to be honest , was great day all round hoping some bigger fish start turning up as now herring making a show and it felt nippy on the fingers first thing so hopefully bit of cold turning up. Thanks to all the boys specially new comers Marty and Pat from Luton appreciate you making the journey, Lakenheath boys Dave,Dan and Andy, and regulars Dave,Chris and Ian really enjoyed it hope you all got told off for being late !

Todays trip was with regulars from DXB Water Company with Derek Ball and friends. Weather was great and tides quite weak it was decided to try inshore on the spot we had a reasonable result from few days previous. Things paid off with codling coming in straight away aboard 24

in total, with 17 takers, all around 34 - 44cm, we also took 3 big whiting
35 -38 cm and had 5 good size dabs; not bad with just 4 anglers today . Picture today is Derek, with Keith with few of the keeper codling. Big thanks for helping out washing down, always a pleasure to see you guys, thanks also to Howard and Jeff, looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks where hopefully get out to deeper water to see if the biggies are following the herring that seems to have just showed up. All the best.

Been a while since I updated , what a brilliant couple of months- not one cancellation due to weather, and loads of fish caught.
View Boats Page
We are now catching a few codling and lots of whiting and dogs, plus loads of skate and the odd straggler smoothound.
The winter species will be around for the next few months and fingers crossed the weather is kind so we can get at them.
I still have a few dates left this side of Christmas so treat yourself to a trip -

Forcast today of SW decided to head south of Lowestoft on the banks rather than Hemsby Hole as previous thoughts , wind against tide to start and a 2.8m tide raging through i was rather thinking fishing was going to be bit on the hard side! Had four first timers on the Flyer so no pressure, was on our mark within three quarters expecting to wait a while before the fish started feeding but straight away small codling onboard followed by few very tiny spotty dogs . The whiting were not quality fish like beginning of the week but todays were generally all small and returned to grow. Few more spotties through the day about a dozen, couple of flatties thrown in , no skate for us today or smoothounds which was strange. Ended up with 33 keeper codling average 2 to 3 pounds overall, returned quite a few smaller ones as well. Was a great start to the season for codling as we are in change over period water still warm really. Big thanks to Dave for catching too many, and all first timers on the Flyer Andy,Dan,Lawrie and Frank enjoyed the day men had a good result and thanks for washing down too! Todays results strengthen my belief we are going to have a good season this year hopefully bigger fish than previous years , looking forward to a bit of cold for once! All the best. Jon. High Flyer
