Report on-board High Flyer 2
Bringing us up to date found few bass in these strong tides managed to get out while wind with tide then nip back inshore for wind against tide. Ending up with countless whiting odd smoothound and usual spotty dogs. Picture today of Ben Cole with 2 bass on one rig. Next week in the weaker tides out for tope mainly offshore keep you posted

Up to date been getting few bass sport should improve this week with stronger tides watch this space. Still getting smoothounds bit on the small side though, plenty of decent whiting inshore in the strong winds last few days. Mackerel making a show will be fishing for tope again next week when tides calm down. Picture today of Becky first time on High Flyer 2 on a lumpy day done ever so well. Keep u posted guys. 13th July few pictures from today best tope 30lb to Paul, nice to see the horse mackerel, odd decent mackerel to just under 2lb to Dave,enjoyable day with few small codling plenty of pouting mixed bag kind of day. Most enjoyable, Cheers guys

Great Day on Saturday with Thornbacks to 8lb 8 oz, along with smoothhounds to 5lb many large whiting, fished full day with great company and anglers fish caught on squid and fresh mackeral, taking bookings now for all this week

Sat 11th July idea was for tope trip, picture today of Nick with 30lb specimen, had 5 runs lost 3 bit of feathering for mackerel few keepers among them, beaten by the weather so inside for dogs and whitting to finish the day off. Thanks Rhitchie for organising everyone hopefully bigger ones next trip. Cheers

Evening trip out tonight with Richard and sons very pleasant weather ended up with some decent smoothounds to ten pounds, a nice thornback ray, spotty dogs and whiting most of the night. Big thanks to Richard, Tim, Dan and Gary was most enjoyable. thanks guys

+Up to date 21 June 2020 resuming trips only 6 anglers at present due to virus retrictions, few bass about picture today is Martin Bishop (skipper) 5 .5lbs plenty of reasonable smoothounds about along with odd thornback ray , mackerel starting to make a show . Lost couple of tope the other day so designated trip on Sat 12th July few places left if interested. Will be making a few evening trips up 6pm till midnight lets you got to work next day if interested let me know will sort them out . Bringing us up to date Feb 12th 2020 been battered by all these storms managed to get out today having lost previous weekend. Caught few bass lately all returned of course due to legislation best 5.5lb picture here with Paul Layton regular on High flyer 2 , odd codling showing up not in numbers were still waiting ! Amazingly the thornbacks are a steady trickle they havent left really all winter like they normally do good for us. Still got whiting stripping the baits at times grateful for them so wont complain. Caught first couple spotty dogs inshore which are early for us not normally till end march just shows how things are changing. website up to date daily get your wrecking or tope dates down will advise as to tides . Look forward to seeing you on High Flyer 2 soon until then tight lines everyone. Cheers Jon
