sat 1st dec
headed out on a cold frosty morning which soon turned to sleet, rain and very cold to a favored mark with brian, bob and barry on board with a steady stream of fish coming aboard mainly whiting with the odd codling thrown in for good measure then a cracking bite produced an 8.5lb cod best of the season so far. ending the day with 7 cod to 8.5lb and plenty of whiting
sun 2nd dec
headed out early to fish a local boat match with duane, dan, andy and malcom on board with good expectations after the previous days catch. the first cod was on the boat within 10 minutes and then coming steadilt throughout the day ending up with 12 codling to 3.25lb and plenty of whiting the biggest codling was just beaten for third place by 4oz although Lead Us did end up with the most codling for the day
a good weekends fishing and a good time had by all thanks to everyone. and thanks to brian for organising the match

A very cold morning with a sharp frost for Rik and his party deck was a bit slippery but the wheel house was nice and warm we headed north to wpt 68 plenty of whiting and 2 small cod as the tide backed off with my uptider giveing a ckacking bite i thought it was a Rooker as there was no head shake at all untill it got a bit closer to the boat 9lb7oz cod was swiftly netted by Ian a few more whiting and some nice sized Dabs followed,thanks all and i hope you soon feel better Martin,Brian.

ABOUT BL**DY TIME!!! Seems like a few Cod have FINALLY turned up.....:-)
Despite strong gusts within the forecast for today,(whats new??!) Mick and Mitch decided to take the gamble and we ventured out, staying inshore to get some shelter.
Despite choppy conditions the chaps did well and we ended up landing around 20 Cod, 12 keepers, 2 fish of 8lb and a couple around 6 with the rest between 2 and 3lb.
What was really interesting was that we only had 3 Whiting all day and only 2 Dogfish so maybe the Cod have now properly turned up and are getting to the baits first....we live in hope!
Get well soon Dave, hope you can be back and fishing with Mick and Mitch again.

As usual great day out, Colin put us on the fish as anticipated. Thanks for the old wire booms Colin, they will keep me going for a few trips! Anyone reading this review would highly recommend Colin, very helpful.More trips being planned!

Had a cancelled trip today due to the poor forcast so went on my own down the roads, i fished the ebb till 13.00 and then made a run for home with a strong s/easterly making things a bit uncomfortable with 3 Cod in the boat and 30 Whiting not bad for 4 hours fishing,Brian.

headed out on a lovely still frosty morning with 5 anglers on board arived at the mark at 8.30 with not a breath of wind and very little tide running things were slow until mid tide with plenty of good whiting coming in and then the first cod with this pattern continuing until the tide eased and the weather worsened at which point we decided to head in ending up with approx 40 good whiting, 5 cod to 3lb and a couple of spotties a good day had by all View Boats Page

Bit of a dirty day for Ashley Mark Vince and Barry with a S/East blowing and wind against tide there was not a lot of choice in marks today,we headed for the N/Roads once again to keep inside out of the swell this proved to be a good call with the flood fishing the best we finished up with 8 Cod up to 4lb and not so many Whiting today but a respectable 27 fish to take home well done all and thanks for the help when we moored up,Brian/Paul.

Bit lumpy this morning so kept inside the n/roads with fish from the start it proved to be a good day for Karl,Dave,Dan,&Berny with 8 cod to 6lb and lost count how many whiting that we kept, ebb tide fished very well with the flood bringing in a bit of weed,we have got our first fish in the competion iam sure this will be beat as the season goes on so dont miss out on the chance of winning a £100, BP.

We had a ride out today out side the holm sands very slow with a few whiting and spottys decided to go down the n/roads after tide started to make on the flood it was a good move first chuck i had a 3lb spragg, plenty of whiting as well to keep us busy with some nice pound fish coming in to the boat we had 1 more cod about the same size and a dab for good measure on a 6/0 pennel with whole squid not a bad days fishing,PS if you reed this Paul get well soon mate,Brian/Paul
