Fishing over the last week has remained pretty consistent despite the tides dropping away towards the past weekend. We have averaged a dozen Codling each trip, still mainly in the 2-5lb bracket and silly amounts of Whiting with the odd Bass, Skate and Dogfish adding variety.
There are a few larger rogue fish at the moment with one being caught this weekend at 18lb and hopefully the next few weeks should see more larger specimens making an appearance.
I have plenty of weekday dates available so please get in contact if you are a small group of anglers looking for some winter sport.

two days off corton on Lead Us 19/20 11/11
after a hectic week painting the boat and a mad rush to get the boat back in the water friday to two trips this weekend
saturday with fish from the off ending up with 70+ whiting, 7 codling to 3lb, 1 pout, 1 dab & 1 lsd
sunday with fish from the off and almost non stop on the ebb ending up with 175+ whiting, 7 codling to 3lb, 2 dabs & 2 pouts and what a glorious day to be at sea and a good time had by all View Boats Page

20/11/2011 Rik and Martin joined us from Norwich today and what day it turned out to be lovely sunshine from the start and the fishing was the same we were a bit inside from yesterday with fish every cast plus dbls as well we had a total of over 200 yting with martin catching 100 plus on his own, 16 dabs this was great to see 5 cod up to 4lb some pouts and a fat rockling it was none stop fishing and only 500yds off the beach we counted 16 boats in the area what a great day,see you all soon Brian/Paul.

19/11/2011 Fished off corton today with the ebb tide loads of yting up to 2lbs with a nice few cod as well 4 in total upto 4lb the flood did not fish as well not until the last 2hrs a couple of dabs came to the boat as well Ashley and his mates had a great days fishing see you all soon,Brian/Paul.

Out today with the Abbott family-the weather held again for us and on a relatively calm day there were plenty of fish once again with a dozen Codling to 3lb and Whiting to 1lb making up most of the catch, although mark also had a nice Pouting of 1.5lb.
I am now fully booked at weekends up to 17th December, however I have plenty of weekday dates available should you wish to come and have a go for the Codling whilst they are about. View Boats Page

13/11/2011 Forcast was giving a fresh 4/5 increasing easterly not the best we have been in it was not to bad up till about miday very rolly with the sea broad side on fishing back at corton a bit closer in today ytings every cast double hookers the sea is full of them some lovely sized fish as well, the cod were a bit slow Marty got the first we managed to boat 7 all around the 3lb--4lb mark still plenty of weed to contend with the boys from Green Jack had plenty of fish to take home see you all soon,Brian/Paul.

12/11/2011 With the strong s/e wind on Friday it looked like we would be canceling the weekend trips but the wind droped enough for us to fish inside off the church with a bit of lee it was a bit rolly but the fish came thick and fast stacks of yting with some touching the 2lb we had 2 small cod around the 3lb mark,plenty of red weed the boat looked like a garden centre my thanks go to Roy and his mates for making the journey to Suffolk and look forward to seeing you all soon,Brian/Paul.

Cracking day today with Dave, Mick and Mitch on their 5th trip onboard Amino.
Despite a slow start in the first couple of hours with only a few small Codling and some nice Whiting to 1lb+, things picked up and more fish started to arrive.
Then Mick had a small bite just after slack water and bent into a good fish-resulting in a cracking 13lb Cod, the first double of the season on Amino and a personal best for Mick!
The chaps ended up with 22 Codling (mainly in the 2-3lb bracket) and plenty of Whiting. Well fished chaps! Cheers! :-) View Boats Page

Having had 3 previous trips, Cliff, Dave, Ernie and Andrew came out on their free inshore trip today and managed to get amongst a few fish. The weather was kind and not quite as forecast although the recent stir has kicked up a lot of weed that made fishing difficult at times.
Despite the weed the chaps ended up with 18 Codling (15 keepers mainly in the 3lb bracket), a few Whiting to 1lb and a fair amount of the dreaded Woofers to boot. View Boats Page

Thanks to a gap in the weather Saturday it gave us a chance to get out once again. With very few Cod showing of any decent size we decided to target the Roker which are still around in good numbers. Dean’s group landed 18 with a majority of the fish weighing between 5lb and 8lb. The rest of the catch was made up of Whiting and far too many poxy Spotty Dogs.
The tides are starting to build now and hopefully the Cod will arrive in good numbers on them. We are desperate for colder weather to lose the summer species that are still being caught and hopefully return to normality View Boats Page
