5th November, What a cracking day tried a couple of wrecks fishing poor so heading back to the inshore reefs and ground, Me myself and Michael Newton and Richy Carr took 60 cod to 6lb, Ling to 10lb returned alive, and 100s of Mackerel in November,

Hi
And here we are on Halloween 31/10/15 and its like summer here at Hartlepool
The fish are still coming onboard even the mackerel are still here in big numbers
How long for you may ask well who knows but long may it reign and give the lads some great sport
the main stay of the fishing is cod and ling with the majority around the 3-5lb mark with a few doubles thrown in for the luckier anglers
shads are still working well and squid baits are having there days as well will double and triple shots coming over the gunnels
also just a quick reminder dates for 2016 are going fast on both the Famous and the Ali-cat View Boats Page

Monday 19th October, Well the up tide season proved very good today two anglers out for a 6hr trip took over 30 cod from 3 half lb to 8lb, Fishing from 1pm to 7pm, Fish was caught on Cart Crab using flowing traces,

sun 18th oct
out today only to be greeted by 2 to 3mtr seas with white tops from the NE.
so off to the first wreck with are expectations at a low.
however bang bang bang, loads of lovely big mackerel. followed by 6 or 7 nice cod3-5lbs,
on the shads jiggers and baited daylites. this was two hours of non stop fishing picking up cod whiting and some lings for 1.5hrs, when you couldn't touch bottom without being hit losing it them then straight into another fish.
eventually it slowed as we lost all the tide, so off to a little ling mark I know fishes at slack
sure enough first go a 10lbs ling, next go 11lbs cod. nice fish considering the crappy conditions.
round again and neils got something better on, a lovely 22lbs ling. closely followed by peter with a ling of15.5lbsnice fish every wreck we visited fished, we took over 90 fish mostly cod but well over 20 Pollack
and 7-8 double figure fish taken ,cracking days fishing for late October and in lumpy seas View Boats Page

Tuesday 13th October, 10 lads out today bit hard going with the NNE wind we fished inshore but some of the lads still manage some nice cod to 6lbs and a fine octopus of 5lb, Most fish today taken on squid bait,

Saturday 10th October, 8 lads out today good start to the day first fish up 10lb half lb ling then just picking away at them for the rest of the day, Some nice Pollock to 6lb, cod to 8 half lb, and Ling from 6lb to 13 half lb all caught on fresh mackerel total catch today around 45 good fish,
