picked up a few cod and odd ling from these wrecks. but no mackerel. we normally have been picking mackerel up straight away
at the 3rd wreck normal service was resumed plenty big mackerels coming aboard
armed with the now plentiful mackerel down went the fresh baits, David shouts net please. a lovely plump ling of 12lbs. his personal best ling to date
one happy bunny
fishing wasn't fast and furious but steady with a nice stamp of fish. another ling around the 10lbs mark cods around 6lbs and a lovely pollack around 8lbs for Gavin
around dinnertime the forecasted southerly wind actually se wind started to pickup and we couldn't hold bottom
even in close the lines were away. so we called it a day, and only just got back before the horrible rain came as well -

was a fairly windy weekend but at least the wind was all from the off the land.so although we were pinned in fairly close to the land.it was a really comfortable days fishing
we manged to pick away steadily on the codlings . when ever the winds eased the more the fishing picked up. obviously the drift slowed as the wind eased
we picked up huge mackerel both days almost all day. the fish were mainly just pan sizes a few 3-4lbs but steady away
also Sasha managed a nice ling of 12lbs nice one -

Thanks to Collin for organising a short run out for a few hours in the sun this morning!

We didn't stray too far from the piers and found any amount of smaller Ling, some decent Codling, Mackerel, Wrasse, Pouting, Whiting, and small Coalies etc. We were even escorted by Dolphins first thing this morning which is always great to see.
Everyone will definitely be eating well tonight; the lads guessed we probably had well over 100 throw backs, and our fair share of sunburn! -

Report on-board Sweet William
It was another cracking run out today, but the offshore wind scuppered the plans for the majority of it.

We stuck inside on the inner grounds and steadily picked away on smaller Codling, Ling, Coalies, Whiting, Pouting, Mackerel and even a Haddock.
When the wind subsided we made the most of the last 20 minutes, and David found a solid stamp Codling on the last drop of the day.
Massive thanks to John, Andreas and the lads for travelling up from Lancaster, Liverpool and Birmingham for a run out! -

We had interchangeable weather all day, but for the most part it was sunny with flat seas.
We stopped for some Mackerel in the morning for both bait and the pan, and then targeted Codling for the rest of the day. -

Huge thanks to the guys who arrived in a party from Northampton today. We set out to very choppy, chilly, windy and wet conditions.

Thankfully it settled down and we stopped to let the lads fill their buckets with mackerel in the morning, whilst also picking up Coalies, Whiting, small Pollack and Pouting.
Once they'd had their fill with mackerel, we targeted Codling and a seemingly never-ending stream of lovely clean fish came aboard until the very last drop of the day. Peter won the sweep with a fantastic 16lb12oz Ling. -
