6-7-14 sunday, Well what a cracking day it was with 5 traveling anglers from Nottingham and Halifax and 3 local lads we only fished 3 wrecks taken around 50 fish good fish they had cod from 4lb to 12lb + 13lb and ling from 8lb 10lb 12lb and the best of the day 17 half lb taken by micheal newton,

fishing remains excellent at the moment Saturday was no exception with no less than 3 fish over 20lbs coming over the gunnel.
best micky with a ling of 26lbs, closely followed by jon with a ling of 24lbs.and keith with a impressive brace of cod 20 and 17. View Boats Page

Booked 8 friends, 4 new to boat fishing ,on a four hour evening trip on the Sapphire .
Lovely clear warm evening and a flat sea
First few wrecks quiet ,but loads of mackerel about ,which is still great to catch ,so a fast and furious 30 minutes followed ,then a few fish from other wrecks Cod and Ling,heaviest 6lb if I remember.
The sapphire is a great boat for first timers to try it out, everybody went home with fish so 10 very happy people ,the fish just started to show in numbers ,but alas it was time to head home, but a great evening for fishing ,if you have ever fancied giving boat fishing a try ,give it a go,you will be hooked ,and Peter will have you rolling with laughter ,and he will find you fish ,all in all a cracking evening and the four new people all want to go back out . 23rd june 14, 10 Anglers out this evening for a 4hr trip fishing 3 wrecks slow start with cod only started to show on the turn of the tide by then its time to head home, Total on the night about 10 fish keepers taken cod to 5lb 10oz and ling to 5lb,

22 june 14, Good weather today good tides first 2 wrecks 12 ling to 8lb so I said right lads pull in next wreck 10mile off from then on we stay on that wreck the rest of the day with cod coming up from 6lb to 17lb and ling from 8lb to 13lb around 50 fish in total for keeps lots undersize going back as well as lots of mackerel, all the anglers going home with some very nice fish,

Hi on holiday here from Auckland, New Zealand been here a month touring about was missing fishing as I normally am out every week at home so booked a five hour trip today on Sapphire was not sure what to expect but had a great time caught three Ling and a Cod had a few laughs, great crew thanks for a fantastic day out much appreciated.

Saturday 14th june, Big tides today so we hit a few inshore wrecks fishing was slow with only the odd cod to 5lb an small lings after 4hrs we moved on to the ground and started picking cod and ling, cod from 2half lb to 5lb about 40 in total with a few small ling to 7lb,
