With the sea settling nicely we were hoping for better results than of late, gladly they were..... Not in massive amounts but we ended the day with over 25 fish for the 5 anglers who booked the full boat, a ling of 7-8lb being the best and the biggest cod was around 5lb, most of the fish were around the 2lb mark with a half dozen or so around 3lb and most of the catch was returned keeping a handfull for the pan. I feel we would have had more had the unforcast wind not come away! Good day and a great laff as always lads had over 50 fish keeping just over 20 odd fish nothing massive but good sign cod to 4 lb

Well good day on the ground with the spring run of cod 5 anglers taking around 70 fish biggest 4 half lb and John getting 3 wrasse �� of the belt good lads and good laff as always inbox for spaces cheers Lee

Left the Tyne around 5pm and the weather was that nice it was straight to the wrecks, picking a few fish on each wreck but very slow all things considering so we had the last hour of our evening trip on the ground, again a few picked up but very quiet. Each angler had fish which was nice and the biggest fell to crewman Tony, a cod of around 5lb.......all in all a cracking night just a shame the fish didn't play catch!!

sat 27th april
managed a day out weather still a little crappy and water dirty, however we did manage around 35 fish for the day with the best topping 10.5lbs best angler on the day darren
taken 15 for himself
most to squid baited daylites etc but a few falling to shads. all in all a enjoyable day fishing
signs of improving fishing. places this wed and coming bank holiday sunday dstill available

Fantastic weather didn’t bring the big numbers cod and other species out to play, however we managed to find what fish was going for anglers to take fry home - great banter Lovly weather fantastic clean boat few codlings for the pan - Great to see young Carl walker back on the cod An have the company our regular anglers.
