FEB 2016
Fishing in February has been different to last year.I think this is because of the vast amounts of freshwater that we have had early on in the season,we have had days with 12 cod caught and days with 1 or 2 cod,but
we always ask the lads what they want to do if they want to scratch around or sit it out for Cod,A recent trip we had we welcomed Ian Brown back with us he had been out with us once before and managed 7 cod himself that day, We left the Marina and thought we would try an old mark as there was only a couple of boats out and it would not be too crowded,so we set off down the river and baited the lads up it was not long before Ian had a nice bite and produced a 10lbs Cod whilst i was dealing with his fish. I gave him another rig which i had prebaited whilst i was weighing the 10bs cod he said he had another bite,It turned out to be a Cod of 13lbs 8 oz not bad for his second trip total fish count that day was 11 cod, another day produced Cod, Flounder .Whiting , Dabs and a Plaice all the fish caught are fresh fish just come into the river.

Uploaded some pics of boat and fish been caught over last weeks as you no the weather hasn't been 2 good for fishing but as u can see from pics when we did get out we had some nice size fish aboard ,a couple of lads are out tonite for a night trip hopefully they'll catch some nice cod now the wind has dropped il upload some recent catches tommorow thanks lee.

Lady Helen is BACK with new owner and skipper restored to high standard,over the last few weeks we done lots of private trips for friends and the lads from our fishing club Phoenix sac and had some great days some nice fish been caught,il upload all catches and pics of boat over the weekend now we have had the boat coded we can now start taking booking for the next coming months give skipper a call see what dates are available thanks.

First trip of 2016, flat calm day with a slight south east breeze, fished the patch of stones of Prestatyn, plenty of nice big Dabs and Whitining,and a couple of Dogfish and small Codling, good fishing for 5 hour trip !
