Saturday the 16th of April.
We left the marina with the intentions to scratch around the River for any Cod that may still be about and Rays
Some of the lads and Shellie opted straight for Cod with big pennel baits some opted to target Dabs and Whiting well most of the Lads caught into double figures with 14 plus whiting the odd Dab, Thornback Ray,Dog fish and 1 Codling at just under 4lbs The shock of the day was Pete Shorrack taking the pool, my bet was on his wife Shellie she always beats him but never the less a nice days fishing with every body catching off shore tomorrow lets see what that brings

fished the Hoyle Bank first time this year' masses of Whiting; some decent ones amongst them; good few Dabs;Dogfish;Bullhuss up to 8lb; and some small Codlings.

Another good day on lady Helen yesterday,,had a first timer on board also Sophie who had a great day out with her partner tony plenty of small codling,dogs,dabs,flounder,and small plaice weather was great perfect day all round still plenty of spaces for coming weeks any 1 interested give us a call 07514337195 thanks. 4 places available £30 for 2 mora 5 th April 9am start. Sunday 3rd of April,Marions group
We left the marina early as we had decided to travel off shore to some banks,
So that we could have a look for some early Bull Huss, Well we did not find any, so we covered a 35 mile round trip which produced Thornback Rays between 5lbs and 13lbs 3 oz the 13lbs 3 oz one was caught by Lea from Coventry.
We had Cod to 7lbs 10oz with a couple around 4lbs The Cod of 7lbs 10oz was caught by Stefan also from Coventry Whiting, Dabs and Dog fish completed the species count to 5 for today everbody had a good day and re booked for July
Look forward to seeing you in July Gary the Skipper.

Great day on lady Helen over 15 cod from 1lb to 5 lb still plenty of cod in the river got a couple nice keepers also 4 thorn back ray 4Lb to 5Lb 2mo is going to be nicest and warmest day of the year apparently and there is still 4 places available £40 pp 8am start any 1 interested give us a call thanks 07514337195 pics to follow.

Had a party of 4 on board today come from Birmingham for a 5am start great day all round over 15 Cod from 1lb to 3 /5 lb couple of keepers still plenty of Cod in the river weather was fine for most of trip and the rest of the week look fine also still spaces available for rest of week any 1 interested giv U.S. A call thanks lee..,,pics to follow.
