Report on-board Channel Warrior
The black bream are now here in good numbers. The actual size of them are quite big but they are very thin and light. Fish that should be 3 - 4lbs are actually 2 - 3 lbs, in the coming weeks they will be feeding up and putting the weight on .

Report on-board Just Fishing
Well August has started off great for Just Fishing!!
We are still continuing to catch Cod on the wrecks, also the Skerries banks are fishing well with plenty of Plaice being had along with great numbers of Gurnard.
Recently we visited the deeper Wrecks in search of Ling and we were not disappointed. As the Sun began to creep up we stocked up on plenty of fresh Mackerel which were in abundance before we headed out to the chosen Wreck.
Second drift in Local Angler Paul Harwood hooked into what he thought was the first Ling of the day only to be surprised to see a stonking Pollock come to the surface weighing in at an impressive 20lb 4oz an absolute cracker for August!!! After that the Ling began to feed and the fishing remained good for the rest of the day with Ling coming up every drift. Biggest Ling went to Alastair Finch with a fine fish weighing in at 29lb 3oz....
More Ling trips planned for the 22nd and 23rd August.
Remember we will be available throughout the winter months
look forward to seeing you onboardView Boats Page

Fishing Report by Paul Smith
on Rapid Fisher (Poole, Dorset)

Report on-board Rapid Fisher
A good number of rays boated on a recent trip to the banks to West of Poole aboard Rapid Fisher.
After setting off from Poole we stopped in Swange bay for bait and it wasn't long before enough mackerel for the days fishing. We headed off round the corner to a mark just off dancing ledge and the boat settled at anchor. Wasn't before long before the first ray came aboard. Action continued with numerous undulates & spotted rays being landed, photographed and returned.
At slack I decided to head further out to a bank which usually throws up big blonde rays & tope so after a short steam across the bay we arrived at the said mark. As the tide and wind came together the boat settled and John hooked into something decent. After 10/15 minutes a cracking 33lb blonde was safely in the net. After a quick photo she was returned back to fight another day.

Report on-board Mistress Linda / San Gina3
This weekend saw the Mistress Linda enter party mode on Saturday with a family who were out to celebrate their sons birthday, it was well organised by his girlfriend Olivia. The group enjoyed a bit of fishing catching plenty of mackeral before heading into Studland for a swim and to top up their tans. During the swimming the proud parents and I discussed holiday destinations and the local scenery whilst ensuring all in the water were safe. It was a really relaxing and enjoyable day.
Oh how hard it is to be a charter skipper on days like thatView Boats Page

Fishing Report by Alex kweller
on Predator (Poole, Dorset)

Report on-board Predator
Another superb days ray fishing aboard Predator. Setting off from Poole we went in search of bait for the day, a steady 20 knots saw us in swanage bay before the first cuppa was finished!! In 10 minutes we had more than enough bait for the day so we headed to the chosen mark near dancing ledge and dropped the hook.
It wasn't before long before the first tell tale rustle on the rod tip meant a ray was settling onto the fresh mackerel bait. Sure enough a good pull over and the first Ray was hooked. Action continued all day and to be honest I lost count but somewhere between 30/40 rays were boated photographed and released. Biggest went to Ross who managed to beat his brother by about a 1lb!!
If you fancy a days Ray fishing then give me a call to book your space.View Boats Page

Report on-board Warrior II
Hi all, here we are well into August now the glory of the victory in the shark festival just a glowing memory !!
The sharking is on the whole very good with Steve Chivers had 3 days of the boat to himself and managed 16 sharks up to an est. 70lb which doesn't sound much until you realize they all came on 12lb test tackle !
My mate John Doswell brought 1 of his crews down the other week and his brother in law Roger qualified for the SACGB with a
very nice 110lb male Blue shark. Dave Bond on Mystique had a good male shark this week at 96"x 32" est 125lb
and said it put up a great scrap ! The weather in July has not been kind and have cancelled a lot of days .
The Reef fishing (not that I have done that much) has been Good with the boats still catching Cod ,Pollack, and some Cracking Ling. Lets hope we can have a spell of settled weather now and I can report some record breaking catches ! That's it for now, will keep you informed. Tight Lines, PeteView Boats Page
