Report on-board Piscary
Had a great day out this week with Tubertini Team England, they bagged 18 species in a very short time, including quite a few very nice Bream, lots of Rays , a couple of Smoothounds and a very welcome bonus Turbot. A big thank you to manager Rolf Marschalek, Stainless Steve and Total Sea Fishings editor Paul Dennis. Also has our first proper Bass trip of the year, unfortunately after catching some great bait the Bass didn't show, but did manage to save the day with some very good Bream and a cracking 4lb 10oz Ballan Wrasse for Martin

Report on-board Warrior II
It's a bit later than last year but here we go then !! We had a lovely conditioned Blue Shark today to (Dave Keen) of approx. 90lb (86" x 32") so that marks the start of our sharking for 2015 !!
Typhoon did have the first from Looe day before yesterday so although it's a slow start it's a start never the less.
We had the annual MOD comp last Friday and the two teams aboard Force Ten kept busy all day with Whiting, Pouts, Ling, Conger, Pollack, and a few very welcome Haddock !! I am afraid those of you who have not booked will not have a lot to go at but I do have a few place bookings available. Keep checking back and I will try to write a bit more often. Report on-board Predator
A great day a float with the lads from the Thamesdown Bus Company from Swindon. We originally were going to target bream but with high tide in the bay at the beginning of the trip I suggested we try a deeper mark in Poole bay for rays first and then bream later in the day.
We headed out at a steady 20 knots (Predator fully feeling her recently cleaned bottom!!) to the chosen mark. Hooks baited, lowered and cuppa made. It wasn't long before the bites started and some decent fish being boated. Suffice to say that the lads didn't want to go breaming in the afternoon as they were happy battling the rays (undulate, spotted & small eyed) , tope, smoothound & congers. Oh and we did manage to get a few bream for tea!!View Boats Page

Fishing Report by Ross Parham
on Spot On! (Brixham, Devon)
Jun 2015 by Ross Parham
Report on-board Spot On!
Spot On has recently completed its third channel island trip of the year to Guernsey and again with some great results.
Day 1 Cod on the target list as we hit the mid channel wrecks on the way across and the lads did very well, all taking great fish on a selection on Sidewinder lures and with a couple of hour's filleting we had a steady steam of 17 knots into St Peter Port.
Day 2 saw us head out to the many banks that surround the islands in search or Turbot and Brill.
Again the lads fished well and had a steady day with lots of small fish being landed and returned alive to grow bigger and a couple of nice Bass to finish the day off we headed back to the fantastic little Italian restaurant 'La Perla' for some amazing well earned home cooked food.
Day 3 the lads decided to target the Turbot and Brill again so we headed back out to one of the banks and with some fresh bait we were in straight away to some much better fish. this continued until it was time to reel up and make the 70 mile steam home.
Pictured is Sam and Tim with a Brace of fine Turbot which they caught at the same time.
A big thank you again for the lads for making the trip enjoyable and look forward to seeing you again next year for more of the same.
Thanks also for my sponsor SIDEWINDER lures for providing yet again some killer lures for the wrecking on the way across.
Spot On is Brixham's and the south wests premier charter boat and with 2016 diary already open and filling fast please contact me to book your trip.

on Spot On! (Brixham, Devon)
Jun 2015 by Ross Parham
Report on-board Spot On!
Wrecking continues to be superb for Spot On of Brixham, Devon as the catches of Cod this year are amongst the most I've ever seen.
Most fish are averaging around 4lb-7lb and are making for some great sport. A few larger specimens have been netted but it seems difficult just to get through the smaller ones, a few bass, some nice summer Pollock and few whiting make up the other species being landed during recent wrecking trips.
Pictured is a few fine Cod landed on one drift on a recent trip.
Remember Spot On is Brixham's only catamaran and is in a class of her own being, the fastest largest charter boat in the port and consistently bringing great catches for my anglers and with the photos to prove it.
I would like to thank my amazing sponsor, SIDEWINDER lures, for providing me with the best lures on the market today which have so far this year taken some amazing fish.
2016 Diary is now open and is already beginning to look healthy so if you would like to book a trip please feel free to contact me.

on Just Mary (Christchurch, Dorset)

Report on-board Just Mary
Hi All, a run of four consecutive trips has seen us put more fish on the boat and show once again that we are consistently putting our customers on the fish whatever their experience or competence as Anglers. Remarkably one of our best catches was a near 14lb Undulate Ray on one of my Spinning Rods that I hire out. It took a while but Tom Beard was rewarded with this fine fish on an Aberdeen fine wire size 4 hook to 12lb trace line and 15lb main line and fixed spool reel to Shakespeare 8 foot Spinning Rod. We also continue to find good quantities of Black Bream even in challenging conditions. Anyone wanting to see us put you the Angler on the fish should book your next trip with us now ! Thanks, Malc.....

on Osprey (Minehead, Somerset)

Report on-board Osprey
This time out it was the regular Happy Dangler Hound Hunt, and this year we nailed it......With bright skys and light winds forecast we all met on the harbour side for around a 10am start. We had a short steam of about 20 minutes before we got the baits down for the first time, with most of us opting for crab baits, both peelers and hardbacks and it wasnt long before the first fish came over the gunnels, a little doggie.......but this was soon followed by the first of the hounds.....and for the next 5 hours we were bringing fish after fish to the surface.
Steve the skipper even demostrated a new technique in netting a surprise bass that lost the hook half way into the net but with some quick and nimble netting steve managed to get it over the gunnels.....
The last part of the trip proved to be hard fishing but after the frantic first half of the trip no one was complaining. We ended the day with over 50 smoothounds, bullhuss, bass, conger, thornback and blonde ray, pout, cod, and a few doggies.....
A thing to note though when using hardback crabs is that though these can be gathered freely compared to the high price of peeler's, and the hounds will take these all day long, you are pretty much ruling out any other species........but when the hounds are feeding i would highly recommend them......View Boats Page
