Report on-board Mistress Linda / San Gina3
The Ray fishing has been excellent during the last few weeks with many Undulates, Small Eyed and Spotted Ray's being landed each trip. During the last week mackeral have been more plentiful with anglers restocking their freezers for the next trip and getting a few for the BBQ. The bigger bream seem to be thinning out or perhaps they are just not getting a look in with smaller pesky ones hitting the baits quicker. Offshore the wrecks have provided some good pollack fishing. The coloured water which badly affected the Plaice fishing is now clearing and we are starting to find a few along the Piers and in the Swash.

Report on-board Just Fishing
Fishing has been fanatic today onboard "Just Fishing" of Brixham.
The first Wreck we went over showed real sign it was holding alot of fish and from the 2nd drift plenty of plump summer Pollock were coming to net, also some Cod but once the tide started running it was the Pollock that was giving the rod bending sport drift after drift, there were moments it got manic onboard as so many fish were coming up at the same time.
By early afternoon the Lads said they had caught more than enough fish and wanted to head in which is always a great to hear
Probably the last day Wrecking we'll squeeze in now this month as the wind forcast dosn't look promising but cant wait toget back out there!

Report on-board Silver Spray II
We have had some cracking fishing inshore of late which has helped to fill some of the gaps left by the bass trips we can't do until July. The bream have been of a really high quality so far with 3lb plus fish a daily occurrence rather than a rarity. I can't wait to see what size they go up to when they arrive on the wrecks in August. Keeping us busy over slack water have been the tope which have now arrived in numbers as the may bloom starts to clear in the water and the mackerel, hopefully, become more abundant. As I mentioned earlier we are holding off on doing bass fishing until July but it's been nice to see plenty of them out on the ground taking bream, ray and even tope baits. I think hopefully this is a good sign for when our season with them finally starts. Elsewhere across the channel we have been getting some nice sized turbot on the banks, last trip saw 4 doubles in 2 days, as well as good numbers of brill. The cod have been such a good size on the wrecks so far that I can't wait to start our long range Cherbourg trips next month to see what's lurking a bit further afield.

Report on-board Just Fishing
The Past week has seen " Just Fishing " of Brixham on the Wrecks and on the Banks.
Out on the Wrecks the Cod are still showing however compared to last year not in as many numbers yet, however last year we were spoilt.... Still some nice plump summer Pollock around too.
Our Mid week runs to the Skerries have been slowly improving in numbers and quality of Plaice, and a nice dab of 1lb 4 was had by boat regular Pete Flavell..also plenty of Dogfish and Gurnards on the outer rim of the banks. On the Ray Pits fishing has been very rewarding with some lovely Blonde Ray coming onboard, in with them the odd Small eyed Ray.
We still have some individual spaces available for June, first of which is Sunday 26th's Reef,Roughs and Gullies trip £50 for a10hr trip!
